*S21 DSFL Power Rankings - Week 10 - Colabear - 03-29-2020 :dsfl: Welcome to the Week 10 S21 DSFL Power Rankings. I've compiled rankings from the DSFL GMs and the wider community to create a weighted system which should give a relatively balanced results and is protected from a single team brigading the vote to put themselves to the top. It assumes people aren't lying about who they are or who they play for. Overall Community Rankings #1: UP 1 ![]() #2: DN 1 ![]() #3: UP 3 ![]() #4: UP 1 ![]() #5: DN 1 ![]() #6: UP 2 ![]() #7: = ![]() #8: DN 6 ![]() We've now crossed the halfway point in the season, and the early season favourites, Minnesota, have gone into freefall. After a week where they lost all 4 games, they drop to the bottom of the rankings. Hopefully they can pick themselves up, dust themselves off and come back strong. Kansas City have overtaken Myrtle Beach to take a clear cut 1st place, with the lowest ranking score we've seen all year. In the mid table battle Tijuana have leapfrogged the other 5-5 teams to take third while Norfolk and Portland swap places without much separating the three. It seems not everyone is buying Dallas' 5-5 record just yet. Although they've moved closer to the 5-5 pack than the other two teams below them. London remain in 7th, with a slight edge over Minnesota. Poll Responses Votes picked up a bit again this week although, once more we saw no contributions from any London players. I don't know if they just morally object to these power rankings or transatlantic communications are failing. Rankade Rankings For a more impartial comparison I've also used Rankade to rank the teams based on the results. #1: 2086 - = ![]() #2: 2034 - = ![]() #3: 2026 - = ![]() #4: 2000 - = ![]() #5: 1958 - = ![]() #6: 1888 - = ![]() #7: 1713 - = ![]() #8: 1706 - = ![]() The rankade ratings move more slowly and are less reactionary to most other rating systems. Nobody has moved up or down in the rankings but Kansas are on a big upward trend, while Minnesota's downward trend continues. Tijuana will likely have a chance to overtake them in this coming week. Finally our expansion teams are still normalising and gaining ground swiftly. ![]() Current Ratings How differently do different groups vote? ![]() We're seeing more stable results at this point in the season. Almost every team ranked Kansas as the number 1 team. The two exceptions, Norfolk and Tijuana, full of self belief ranked themselves top. The GM group seemed to believe in Dallas' rise more than the players, putting them ahead of Norfolk. Homerisms We've seen a far less biased week of rankings this week. Three teams ranked themselves as the top team: Kansas City, Norfolk and Tijuana. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So The George Washington Cannot Tell a Lie award for honesty goes to... ![]() The Homer Simpson award for lack of perspective goes to... ![]() *S21 DSFL Power Rankings - Week 10 - Isidore94 - 03-29-2020 7 Grey Ducks players came out to vote and put themselves in last place? respect *S21 DSFL Power Rankings - Week 10 - Thor - 03-29-2020 U ok norfolk? |
