Season 2 RBs - A Look at the Stats - Gwdaja - 07-12-2017

This is Darlane Farlane, checking in.

I'm noticing that my draft stock is severely underrated heading into the S2 draft, and it doesn't sit right with me. Sure, the other RBs, namely Cobb and Savea, are talented guys, but the fact is, I outperformed them in the last 3 prospect games. I'm hearing lots of buzz around their names and none around mine. Sure, Savea has more all around skills by the numbers and a high TPE, but the statsheet doesn't lie.

I'm bringing it upon myself to shine a light on the stats of the prospect games in which I played, so everyone can take notice of the work I put in. Yeah, it might be fun to be one of the underrated guys and prove everyone wrong, but I'm making one last push before the season to speak my mind and get everyone's attention. After this, the rest will be history, so it's really up to the teams for them to decide which side of history they want to be on.

Anyways, I'm taking the reigns from these analysts and self-proclaimed "gurus" and laying down the numbers. Buckle up, ya'll, cause Darlane Farlane got good ones.

To keep it relatively short and sweet, I'll highlight the last three prospect games, in which I outperformed competition:

Prospect Game 3:

Darlane Farlane: 11 attempts 64 rushing yards, 5.8 YPC, 2 receptions, 9 rec yards

Ardie Savea: 11 attempts 51 rushing yards, 4.6 YPC, 1 reception, 2 rec yards

E. Kennedy: 13 attempts 22 rushing yards, 1.7 YPC, 1 Rushing TD

K. Cobb: 9 attempts 24 rushing yards, 2.7 YPC, 3 receptions, 6 rec yards

Prospect Game 4:

Darlane Farlane: 22 attempts 88 rushing yards, 4.0 YPC, 1 Rushing TD, 3 receptions, 10 rec yards

Ardie Savea: 18 attempts 78 rushing yards, 4.3 YPC

E. Kennedy: 14 attempts 24 rushing yards, 1.7 YPC

K. Cobb: 10 attempts 44 rushing yards, 4.4 YPC, 5 receptions, 38 rec yards

Prospect Game 5 Championship:

Darlane Farlane: 14 attempts 64 rushing yards, 4.6 YPC, 2 receptions, 29 rec yards, 1 rec TD

Ardie Savea: 16 attempts 49 rushing yards, 3.1 YPC

E. Kennedy: 10 attempts 22 rushing yards, 2.2 YPC, 1 receptions, 16 rec yards

K. Cobb: 10 attempts 32 rushing yards, 3.2 YPC, 1 Rushing TD, 2 receptions, 9 rec yards

Totals Over Last 3 Games:

Darlane Farlane: 47 attempts, 216 rushing yards, 4.6 YPC, 1 Rushing TD, 7 receptions, 48 receiving yards, 1 rec TD

Ardie Savea: 45 attempts, 178 rushing yards, 4.0 YPC, 0 Rushing TD, 1 reception, 2 rec yards

E. Kennedy: 37 attempts, 68 rushing yards, 1.8 YPC, 1 Rushing TD, 1 reception, 16 rec yards

K. Cobb: 29 attempts, 100 rushing yards, 3.4 YPC, 1 Rushing TD, 10 receptions, 53 rec yards

As you all can clearly see, I'm leading the pack in yards, by a lot, yards per carry by a big margin, tied for rushing TDs and second on receiving yards. I'd say I'm more "boom" than "bust", but who's to say? I'll let my numbers and play on the field do the talking. On top of that, I am by far the fastest RB coming into this draft and I aim to be the fastest in the league in a short time. It's only a matter of time. Opposing teams will be hurting when it comes to game day. Teams looking for RBs in the S2 draft, I hope you're reading. Thank you, and see you on draft day.

Players don't update for the prospect games which means that Logan Noble (275 TPE) would play about as well as Torque Lewith (50 TPE). It also makes the prospect games nearly meaningless...

Well I performed well in them and have been updating in the meantime...so I guess I'll only perform better come the preseason!!

Great analysis man. We were a great combo for Pomona and I've tried to get your name out there in a few of the talks I've had. Stay active as you have been and I'm sure your projections will keep shooting up. I can't wait to take the league by storm along with my dudes from the Mongoose and become a class that is talked about for years to come.

No way I don't see it as throwing shade we're cool Cool

If I was you I'd be feeling the same way. Theres some newer rookies that are making a lot of noise but at the end of the day it's how you perform once you're drafted and I definitely think you've proved you're here to stay.
