*Pre-Draft Exclusive with Mario VonPebbles - SomeSay... - 04-15-2020 Hello, everyone. Doing my first ever covid-19 Skype interview, with non other than Mario VonPebbles. He's a DE prospect out of Clemson and spent the last year with the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Hope you guys enjoy. So, first off, welcome Mario. I'll start off with this, how did you feel your rookie campaign went? What was your biggest challenge? For you and the team? I’m just here so I don’t get fined. So, last year as a team obviously not what was hoped for. So this season, what are you most looking forward too? I’m just here so I don’t get fined. Most mocks are targeting you in the mid/late rounds. What would you say to those GMs out there that might be overlooking what you can bring to their team? I’m just here so I don’t get fined. So, let's go back a quick second. You were a five star recruit coming out of high school. Went on to Clemson, won a couple national titles. So I'd say you've had a pretty successful early career. Do those projections disappoint you at all? I’m just here so I don’t get fined. Last thing before we wrap this up, I've spent the last year with you in the grey ducks locker room. I know what you brought to the team in and out of the locker room. So, I'm going to give you the last word, anything you want to say for everyone out there listening or reading? I’m just here so.... Oh shit! The Adderall just kicked in. What the fuck!? Did I just answer all your questions like Marshawn? That’s my bad. Alright alright alright. I hate it when that happens. Here, I’ll go back and answer... actually, can you repeat the questions? Start from the beginning. Ok.........So, first off, welcome Mario. I'll start off with this, how did you feel your rookie campaign went? What was your biggest challenge? For you and the team? Great question coach. My rookie campaign was a fucking joke. My teammates fucked me over. The coaches fucked me over. I played my ass off, and everyone else sucked. I got off to a slow start this year. The only reason I was able to get it in gear at all is because of Boomer Duck and Ducky Howser. Those guys got me the horse steroids I needed to perform. The shit I got from Lithuania last year ran out before the season started and without those guys I woulda been tits up. My biggest fucking challenge...all the concussions. For real. The concussions pile up over the years and with the way I play they’re starting to take a toll. Luckily all my teammates over in the Grey Ducks locker room are super fucking supportive. They played like shit, but they were hella supportive! They all gave me some of their adderall. Thank god. For me and the team, I’d say the biggest challenge was figuring out what strip clubs and shit to go to. Minnesota is fucking whack. What was the next question again? So, last year as a team obviously not what was hoped for. So this season, what are you most looking forward too? This coming season, I’m looking forward to snapping necks, cashing checks, kicking asses and taking names! Cuz to quote The Nature Boy I’m, “The stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' and dealin' son of a gun.” “To be the man, you gotta beat the man.” “If you don't like it, learn to love it.” Whooooooooooooo!!!! Winning man. Winning in Minnesota and bringing an Ultimini back to Boomer Duck and Ducky Howser. That’s my focus. Those guys showed a lot of faith in me by taking me 56 OA in the S21 DSFL draft. Now all I wanna do is show them what a great pick they made. Next question. Most mocks are targeting you in the mid/late rounds. What would you say to those GMs out there that might be overlooking what you can bring to their team? Come get the steak of the draft, that’s what I’m saying to you NSFL GM. Go ask Boomer Duck and Ducky Howser how that’s working out. I’m a slow learner, for sure. It takes me a while to picky shit up. Now that I got some time under my belt tho, you can expect big things. Media is how I’m gonna make money. Writing. I’m gonna write my ass off and by tier 6 equipment every season. I’m gonna grind all season long on my PT, Trivia, AC, and training as well. My locker room presence speaks for itself. Whoa! What the fuck just happened. I just blacked out! What were we talking about? Mario, I asked you about being a steal in the draft and you started ranting about a bunch of gibberish. You should really get an MRI or something. Fuck you. Next question. So, let's go back a quick second. You were a five star recruit coming out of high school. Went on to Clemson, won a couple national titles. So I'd say you've had a pretty successful early career. Do those projections disappoint you at all? I’m all about getting paid. The money comes later. Rookie contracts are good, but I want to see that long money. Last thing before we wrap this up, I've spent the last year with you in the grey ducks locker room. I know what you brought to the team in and out of the locker room. So, I'm going to give you the last word, anything you want to say for everyone out there listening or reading? Shout to my family back in three points and to Coach Sweeney and Coach Hardy!! Hey guys, thanks for stopping in and thank you Mario for your time. Best of luck next season and in the upcoming draft! Please split 50/50 between.
