We know anticipation has been building, and now you as fans can represent your team at home. To begin the name of our game will be after long time user @timeconsumer. TC has put in so much work with the sim, so we here at COG Sports believed he would be the perfect fit for our games (plus the game is so great it will consume all of your time). Without a further adieu, our FIRST cover athlete is: Franklin Armstrong Armstrong is a three (consecutive) time MVP and a three time NSFL champion and is just getting started. Now he can add the coveted cover athlete to his trophy box. Features: Crews Grab a friend, some controllers and throw on your pads as you hit the fields together in multiple player chaos. Up to four friends can join per team, leading to eight player chaos! Franchise Think you would do a better job rebuilding your favorite team? Well now is the time to prove yourself as you can take over as the either the coach or GM! Make trades, sign franchise players and draft future stars! The Future The Future is for the fan who knows he can make the clutch throws or key tackles for their team. Go through a Senior Day game, pre draft interviews and the illustrious NSFL Combine before entering the DSFL Draft. Play through a season before being added to an NSFL roster in the NSFL Draft. Make decisions on which agent to sign with, what company to represent and even deck out your home pad! Fantasy Team Want to see Corvo Harvan connect on a pass to Sean O'Leary? Or have Kyle Idlewyld and Mo Berry side by side on the line? Well now you can as you collect and upgrade with Fantasy Team. Collect cards in our challenges, then take your team through our own seasons to reach Ultimus Gold. The only limit is your imagination! 99 Squad The following players are members of the first ever 99 Squad (having received 99/max overall in the game) at launch. Franklin Armstrong The cover athlete showed off in the past season, recording 3190 yard, 28 total TDs and an NSFL record 109.3 passer rating which earned him his third consecutive league MVP and the first 99 overall! Errol Maddox Maddox was a key to Baltimore's run to the post season, as Maddox tallied 55 receptions, 1114 yards and 14 touchdowns. Maddox was selected as Wide Receiver of the year and a trip to the pro bowl, and has now earned a 99 overall! Sam Torenson Torenson has already made a name for themselves as a future hall of famer at the running back position, and this past year only added to that resume. With a league leading 1305 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns, Torenson earned a trip to the NSFL ProBowl and 99 overall! Mo Berry Berry was a beast in the trenches all of last year, racking up 16 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 2 recovered fumbles all of which were league leading, as well as Line Backer of the year, defensive player of the year and a unanimous selection to the pro bowl. Berry looks to keep up this production, and if so will keep solidifying their status in the 99 squad. Walt Green Green was all over the field last season, ending with a league leading 4 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and 83 tackles. Green also made his impact on the special teams side of the game, with over 1200 total return yards (kick and punt returns) and 2 return TDs. This lead to a DB of the year award, unanimous selection to the pro bowl, returner of the year, second in defensive player of the year voting and 99 overall.
