Hiring: 2 New Media Graders - adam2552 - 07-14-2017

For S2 we are looking to hire two new media graders.

Responsibilities
  • Be able to work in a timely manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
The most important part of media grading is the timely part. The goal is to have every article graded within one week of replies stopping in the article. We don't want to grade articles that are still having an active discussion in them, so we wait until replies have stopped for one week. Due to this it is expected that you try to grade once per week. I understand that it won't happen week, but that is that is our expectation. The grading process is fairly simple, just requires getting a word count and entering that on a Google Sheet. The sheet will do all the math and even format your post to the bank.

The position comes with a $4,000,000 salary that will be paid out at the end of S2.

Hiring: 2 New Media Graders - sabills - 07-14-2017

Availability to Grade: I usually sit at my desk for lunch at work, and this seems like it would only take max 5 minutes per article for grading, so I can do a handful once or twice a week
Excel/Google Sheets experience: I have 4 spreadsheets open at work right now; its something I use almost daily. I don't really know advanced formatting or formulas, but this seems like basic data entry which isn't an issue.
Add any questions you may have: About how many articles need grading per week? Does someone else make the call of when the article is ready to be graded, or is that on the graders?
