we all show tribute

create media and earn
for just one more speed
every single day
it’s all been the same request

winning an ultimus trophy?
or the brotherhood?
will they celebrate
chant your name before the sun
or boo your bum ass
one day your time comes
regression comes for all of us
for we are all mortals
a once mighty god
never matched in might nor deed
succumbed to athlete’s foot
was winning worth it
if you didn’t make friends too?
celebrate with friends
to have loved football
is to have pushed yourself far
until you could not

first of all, they're not even measured in syllables, but in morae.
the whole point of a haiku is to use the principle of kiru (lit. "cutting") to highlight the juxtaposition of ideas... they're also supposed to have a specific reference to the seasons
but western culture has butchered the art of the haiku to the point it is no longer recognisable as the traditional japanese poetry form, and is simply three lines of poetry in the 5-7-5 syllable form
