The Minnesota Grey Ducks season started out slow, with a one and three start. Things were not going our way. Did we give up on the season? Did we go IA and stop earning? Did we stop laughing and having fun the in the locker room? No. We pulled ourselves even closer together, and fought our way through a 4 game winning streak. Now entering the final stretch, the Grey Ducks are ready to take on any and all challengers. We as a team have 2 away games ahead of us tomorrow, and we're working very hard to be as prepared as we possibly can to win those very tough matchups at Tijuana and Norfolk. After that we have two home games, where we feel very confident in our teams ability to close out the season and secure a home playoff game. We would not be here without the amazing and strong leadership coming from @Dewalt27 and @CLG Rampage. I am eternally grateful that they took a chance on me in the DSFL draft. This team has no reason why it can't and should not go all the way this season. Look for the Grey Ducks to take over the DSFL playoffs, and win their third Ultimini in four seasons. I couldn't be more proud of my teammates and GMs.

Well jeez, I wouldn't be surprised if the San Jose Sabercats make it to the Ultimus this season. The run that they are crafting right now is something to notice as they have been plagued by mediocrity and suckitude for many seasons now, barely missing the due to other teams having slightly more success than them. This is clearly the make or break moment for their franchise, as it proves to the NSFL community that this team of apathetic mediocrity has some life in them. Though being middle in the road on almost all aspects of the game, whether it be Passing, Rushing or Defense. But their players are where it truly shines. R. Cardrissian is a very competent running back who has shown flashes of talent throughout the season. With a wide receiver corps led by A. Jackson and D. Thomas Fox, these two weapons are where this team breaks away from other teams. Behind a stellar offensive line is the Quarterback D. Wright, who does the job quite well when it comes to slinging the ball around. While this team doesn't have a light up defense, it still gets the job done at the end of the day. Overall, this team has heads turning, and a bright future a head as the killer class of S23 make their way in the NSFL.

The Austin Copperheads are trying to pull off the unthinkable, make the playoffs after having a below 500 record at the halfway point of this Season of the national Simulation Football league, with only 1 win, 4 losses and a tie to the Arizona Outlaws in the first week of the national Simulation Football league season. After suffering loses at home to Orange County, and losing a one score game to the San Jose Sabercats, the team was looking to rebound against the Philadelphia Liberty, but ended up getting crushed at home. But then the copperheads won against Sarasota, with Ryan Leaf Jr having a combined 3 touchdown game to not only seal the team’s second win, but it sparked a 5 game winning streak, where they picked up revenge wins against Arizona, Honolulu, and Orange County, where Easton Cole had done a rare feat, a 63 yard rushing touchdown to seal a win on the road, and the return to a favorable record for a playoff run. The playoff plan is simple, The copperheads need to win on the road against New Orleans, and have San Jose lose at home to Orange County, then, defeat the Sabercats at home to clinch the number 2 seed in the conference.

Looking ahead to the playoffs, the NFSC looks pretty straightforward: The Yellowknife Wraiths have the top seed locked down and Yeti will be hard to catch for the second seed. That leaves Philadelphia and Sarasota competing for the third spot. Even should Philadelphia win tonight's head to head they would need to also beat Yellowknife or have Sarasota lose to Chicago in the final week in order to overcome Sarasota's superior conference record. Since the head to head will be split evenly. With those 3 teams through to the playoffs it's hard to bet against homefield advantage carrying Yellowknife to the Ultimus once more.

Over in the AFSC, The Orange County Otters have the first seed guaranteed, and it's a 3 horse race for the other two seeds between New Orleans, Austin and San Jose. The schedule includes head to heads between Austin and both those teams in the final two weeks. In both games Austin has the home field advantage and I think that will be enough to carry them through to a playoff spot and I think San Jose may just lose out having lost both games to New Orleans already this season. Regardless who the lucky teams are it's hard to see Orange County slowing down in the playoffs and we will have yet another Ultimus between Orange County and Yellowknife.

I think Yellowknife may be able to carry a number 1 seeding to home field advantage in the final game and finally break the deadlock and get the Ultimus they deserve.

Road to glory. We're talking about playoffs? Playoffs? Yeah, we're talking about the playoffs. The DSFL playoffs and how I see them playing out for us. Who might be might dark horse, even though we aren't losing, and how I feel Matt Krause will play a huge role for his team defensively.

So let's start with us, The Minnesota Grey Ducks. We started the season at 1-3 and most had us written off, even with the talent on this team. Fortunately, all of us as players picked our heads up and got to work and started playing at our full potential. Our GMs put together the best gameplans and since then we have a record of 5-1and sitting at the top of the conference at 6-4. We look like the team to beat and we are. This team has had championship aspirations since the start and we don't plan on failing. So as for the who I see winning the Ultimini, it's US! The Minnesota Grey Ducks.

As for a dark horse, I'm going with one that sits at 5-5 and just out of a playoff spot. Norfolk has came on strong recently and have upset some of the stronger teams on paper. They look to keep that upward momentum going to carry them to a playoff spot and they very well could. They're solid at home and can upset anyone on the road if you're not careful. I don't know if they'll pull it off but they're ones to watch right now.

As for Matt Krause, he's a defensive leader, and a staple on the outside. With 3 Ints in the last 2 games, leading the league in PD at 9. He looks to keep the momentum up the last few games of the regular season to try to seal CBOTY. I see him and of course everyone making a impact, but with the big plays he's been making recently, I wouldn't be surprised if his INTs and his ability to shut down any teams #1 WR. That he will rise to the occasion for the Grey Ducks in the playoffs.
