Notes to the Grader
*The Sylphreni Show - Episode 10 - JKortesi81 - 05-18-2020 “Miracle” scramble? Can we please remember the score was Austin 21, OCO 20 at the time anyway? It’s not like my incredible heroics pulled victory away from the jaws of defeat. It just helped it along. The Easton Cole zig zagging 6 yard TD did that. ![]() *The Sylphreni Show - Episode 10 - ValorX77 - 05-18-2020 Valor Nitpick: I don’t expect to go that high or the first round. I am trying everything to improve my draft stock. *The Sylphreni Show - Episode 10 - HalfEatenOnionBagel - 05-19-2020 Vegas Flush, I'm dying As far as the DSFL discussion, it is so tough to properly shape a minor league because anyone you ask is going to have a different opinion of what it should be. Like for me, the most important thing is helping new players to get acclimated to the league and excited about it. But then you still have to run recreates through it as well. I kind of like what the EFL/SBA have done with the college system where you can kind of choose how long you want to stay whether it's right after one season or for longer. Then your regression year starts when you enter the pro league draft. Gives people some flexibility if they want to push to get to the pros sooner or if they want to stay and help build a program without yet being tethered to a pro franchise. But then you have no send downs so I don't know how you would handle like a QB in waiting who would just ride the bench in the NSFL. Maybe you make an exception for that position? There's just not an obvious answer, but I do think the current system could be improved and avoid contraction. Great stuff as always. @qWest was a fantastic guest, you guys have some good chemistry. Great to see newer members of the league so involved *The Sylphreni Show - Episode 10 - Bayley - 05-19-2020 Yeah, this was an amazing listen fellas!! *The Sylphreni Show - Episode 10 - qWest - 05-19-2020 (05-19-2020, 07:42 AM)HalfEatenOnionBagel Wrote:Vegas Flush, I'm dying This exactly where we were getting with the discussion. I'm really starting to like the idea of a DSFL system that more closely resembles the college system. The QB question is definitely a big one that has to be answered. Hopefully with the new DSFL HO we can start seeing more improvements to the system as a whole. *The Sylphreni Show - Episode 10 - Sylphreni - 05-20-2020 (05-19-2020, 09:12 AM)BayleyIsland Wrote:Yeah, this was an amazing listen fellas!!
