Note - I find it weird that most of the teams here don't have jerseys. I'm sure there are a bunch of really talented artists on here that would be able to come up with sweet jersey sets - I'm surprised this hasn't been done.
Hello NSFL,
For those unaware aka everyone besides WBF, Traut, Spec, Grum and the other members of the Buffalo Stampede cult that exists in the SHL, I exist on the SHL as jfisherr, a recent addition to that league. Also, I guess Grapefruit knows I'm here too, whatever. Having been talked into creating for this league, I thought I'd do my first media piece on a ranking of the DSFL teams I'd like to get drafted by based solely on their uniforms and logo. I have no history of doing graphics or what not, I just know what is and what isn't a good football uniform.
Good = Florida Gators, specifically the throwbacks we wore while dabbing on Auburn, old-school Pat Patroiot jerseys, etc.
Bad = Old Tampa Bay, new LA Rams, etc.
We shall begin:
8. Portland Pythons
Lmfao I'm a firm believer of nicknames being somewhat related to the city they're named after, and so TIL pythons are native to the state of Oregon... or are they? Portland has so much potential for a real solid nickname, to settle on a generic animal like the Pythons is a real head-scratcher. Minnesota and Dallas are both above the Pythons due to the relevance of those nicknames to those places, as well as the uniqueness of those team names, even if they aren't the best. Additionally, the black and yellow colour scheme is too much like the Steelers imo, and I would prefer to never play on a team with a colour scheme similar to the shitty Steelers. Also, u guys have @Trautner and he stinks.

7. Minnesota Grey Ducks
Got a wiki, but there's nothing there. That at least is a slight improvement. At least I'm able to see a full size version of your logo. Grey Ducks as a name is kind of terrible lol, Minnesota Loons is a slight improvement, being less of a mouthful to say than the 'Grey Ducks'. Regarding the logo, it isn't a terrible start, but it isn't exactly great. I respect the use of the state as an outline, but it cuts the Ducks head off to make it look weird. It also gives off a pacman like vibe with the northeast of the state combining with the duck beak. Minnesota has potential here though if they were to undergo a slight branding change, and could really ascend these rankings if they went with a Ravens/Cardinals vibe with their logo.

+5. Norfolk Seawolves
Lmfao seawolves as a nickname could've resulted in an incredibly fun logo, and all that could be made was a generic looking submarine that looks like it could substitute as a police baton and/or police battering ram? The only thing pushing Norfolk above Minnesota is the potential Norfolk has from a branding perspective. Substitute that police baton with an actual cool logo and the potential is endless. Yes yes I'm aware its a type of submarine, but still, come up with a submarine logo that doesnt look like a police baton and then we can talk. Also, your team info page says this is an AI controlled team and not much else, perhaps updating that could be a good place to start.

4. Dallas Bird Dogs
Like Grey Ducks, Bird Dogs as nickname doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Dallas Bird Dogs has at least some alliteration, unlike the Minnesota Grey Ducks, and it has a better colour scheme of blue and gold compared to Minnesota's grey and light blue. I do wish the gold was more gold than the current browny-gold than it is now in order to produce more contrast. I like the logo a fair amount, it is something that would actually work well on a football helmet, but it just isn't the best nickname. Dallas Bloodhounds, Texas Terriers etc. Not the worst branding, but not the best. Getting rid of @WannabeFinn would also help.

3. Tijuana Luchadores
I came into this expecting Tijuana to be much lower on my list, but credit is given where its due, and Tijuana gets my respect for having a fully-fleshed out jersey set that actually looks quite good. Green and red is still a yikes colour scheme and I don't love the nickname, wrestling is a fake sport and naming your football team after actors isn't a good look in my opinion. Regardless, a little effort goes a long way, and for Tijuana, that means a place in the top 4.

3. Kansas City Coyotes
Honestly one of the better logos in the DSFL, even if it was created by JSS. I like the purple and yellow color scheme, and I imagine coyotes are around in the state of Kansas (LMFAO jk, Missouri - I'm not like the President of the States). Bonus points for also having a jersey set created and in the team page even if it looks like someone did them on MS paint.
Grade: B
2. London Royals
Y'all don't have a wiki, y'all dont have a team information page to show off your jerseys or logo, not sure what to expect. Royals for a London team is fair I suppose, not exactly a shocking name but sure makes more sense than the Kansas City Royals. The colour scheme of gold black and white is actually very nice, and the logo has a majestic feel to it. I would prefer the right half of the logo to look like the left half, as symmetry is top notch, but overall I cant complain. Hire somebody to come up with some good jerseys and London could genuinely be top of the list in terms of DSFL branding. This is how you do an expansion team
