I was going to put this all in my retirement post, but why do that when I can make some money off of my words instead? I won't have that sexy HO pay anymore gotta make up for it somehow, right?

I wish I could drive off into the California sunset after taking home a fourth ultimus, basking in champagne surrounded by beautiful women, however those dreams were Yeetied off a mountain in Colorado instead. Laughs aside, congratulations to the Yeti on their first Ultimus. I couldn't have ended my career against a better opponent.

Firstly, I want to thank the Pythons organization for starting my career off right with an Ultimini in the DSFL and for creating a platform for me to fall in love with this league. @[PSanchez] was the first GM I had been in contact with as a player and by far the most memorable. I remember when I first started I thought this was fully a role-playing game and everyone was immersed and always in character, so I did my interview in character as a holy God-fearing behemoth of a man from a big city in New Jersey. Looking back now I realize how idiotic that was, especially considering that in reality I'm a scrawny white agnostic bumpkin from the cornfields of Iowa. Portland was where I found a great locker room full of people just as excited as I was to be a part of such a unique experience. I'm a little sad that some of them didn't stick around, but I am happy that I was joined by a few of those same teammates in Orange County.

Segueing into my next round of thanks to perfection, almost like I planned it, I want to also thank the Orange County Otters as a whole for their effects on me as a player and as a member of this community. I want to give a huge shoutout to @speculadora for taking a chance on me in the 1st round of the S15 NSFL draft when most people didn't even think I'd be taken in the first 2 rounds. Spec is a person I have the utmost respect for and one of the most enjoyable humans this league has to offer. He was the best GM I could have asked for, and was extremely supportive of my position switch from DT to CB, helping me through that transition. He also made a very wise decision to pass the team on to what would eventually be a @Laser and @Revolution5 led Otters team. These two have been outstanding successors to a legendary GM, carving out their own path of success. With them as GM's, I would be happy to come back to play for this team once more. I can't leave out my amazing teammates, the #FantaCurtain. This locker room has always been something special, and was a perfect fit for my personality. I will cherish the memories I made in my career as AJ Lattimer. Oh yeah, and lets not forget that epic 3-peat to put some rings on my fingers before my retirement.

Lastly, thank you to all of the members of this league that I met from the beginning that have made my experience in the NSFL special. Those early moments will always be tied to my time playing as Lattimer, and I'm proud to call many of you my friends. I look forward to being here for the new journeys we take as a whole, and am excited to make new memories that will forever be tied to my next player.

It was a great ride, y'all. I'm eager for a fresh start, and hope to come back with a revitalized spirit in my next create. For now though, this is goodbye, at least from AJ Lattimer's point of view. Lattimer OUT
