WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This thing was INCREDIBLE. Easily, the best thing I've recorded for the site thus far. Huge thanks to Bex, Steg, and Kyle for holding on for the duration of the podcast... it's a ride. I contemplated cutting it up, but in the end decided screw that we're going full Rogan. So here it is, in all its glory, the first ever Sylphreni Show: After Hours.

There are SO MANY THINGS on todays show..... here's a very small sampling of what you can expect:

A. Heck you if you don't like the new Portland branding!! For real though, I get that there's been some polarized response but I'm so happy with it and proud of how far it's come since it was a shitty sketch in my notebook. I think it's amazing and I'm most happy with how much more it represents "Pythons" as well as the city of Portland and how unique it feels to us.

B. I think it should be an otter combined with a panda or a polar bear. Just a beeg floofy floaty boi.

C. Heck Ron and Hermione pairing.

D. Get me into that DnD channel boi.

E. I want to signal boost the idea of two international locations for the next round of expansion (Tokyo Kaiju, São Paulo Toucanos)

@iStegosauruz I gotta defend my boy here and our drafting strategy. We looked at our roster and the players we had and barring some form of mass exodus where half the team goes inactive, we didn't see any room for additional players in the near future. Anyone we drafted in S23 wouldn't see the field in New Orleans until S25 at the soonest, but more likely S26. That was why we traded out of the third round. We were actually tempted to move our fourth as well and had even opened dialog about it, but when the fourth round rolled in and we realized Toivo was still available, there was no other choice for us.

Toivo is New Orleans royalty. He has had three players and now all three players have made the New Orleans roster. He has never been a max earner, but he is very steady in what he has done and it has been proven that you don't need to max earn to do well in this league. He is loyal, he is flexible, and he has always done everything that New Orleans has asked him of. The guy has been an active player in this league since September 6, 2017. In that time he has missed a total of 12 activity checks. Almost three full years in this league, 144 weeks. I'd say that is pretty reliable and consistent and I don't see him going IA any time soon. For us Toivo was as sure of a thing as you can get and it still blows my mind that he was there in the fourth round.

But man, the second best podcast in the league is separating itself from 3rd - Last.

I listened to every minute of this podcast and have to say I really enjoyed it! Would be pleased as punch if it became a seasonal event as suggested, and would even be willing to lend support towards it getting a larger payout as a member of the grading team. This was a fantastically enjoyable listen and I so sincerely hope you do another episode like this!

That out of the way I do have to still give Joe the crown of Podcast King even though I doubt he would threaten me regarding it. You may believe you have passed him in terms of podcast minutes, but just counting NSFL podcasts Joe is at 1338 or 22.3 hours and you are at 1185 or 19.75 hours. A 2.55 hour lead even after you posted this monstrous 3.54 hour podcast. He also does quality podcasts for the PBE and SHL which is why he gets to hold the crown, although you are giving him a good run for it I will admit.

Regarding wedding gifts I just want to say I did not send in a gift because I was not invited to the wedding and I do not recognize the marriage.

Also thank you to all of you for answering my many questions. Should you decide to do a question thread again I will be happy to stick to a limit, or should you want to make a marathon podcast I would be happy to get you a thousand questions if you can give me at least a week of notice first. Fantastic job friends and I immensely appreciate the enjoyable experience!
