This is kckolbe here, not Kevin Cushing.
In my short time here, I've accumulated enemies about as quickly as I have TPE. I wasn't fully aware of how bad it was until a post from @`ardiesavea` and following discussion in Discord brought more awareness to it. I know I've been a dick to a lot of folks here. Some of it I intended as teasing and simply went over the line or didn't make it clear enough that I was joking @`ardiesavea` and @124715, some were because I misinterpreted someone else's actions as dickish and corrected in a less than helpful way @4D Chess, but a lot was from simply throwing out my opinion a ton of times without anyone (or at least very few) wanting it @toomanytotag. Those are all fair, and I am sorry.
The first two kind of explain themselves, but I want to explain the last one. I have offered a lot of feedback in general, but more specifically, criticism, at media posts. I love football, and writing, and the combination of the two excites the hell out of me. In addition, having recently gotten in to sports writing, and having seen a couple of others clearly interested in the same, I thought that providing feedback on writing would be appreciated. While this might have been true had I taken more time to demonstrate my knowledge less forcefully, a lot of you likely felt hurt when I read something you put a lot of effort into and simply posted a suggestion for improving it, as though I were some high school teacher whose opinion were of any consequence to you. It's a bad habit. I've had to edit the writing of too many subordinates and often approach writing in that mindset.
However, there is one perception that I want to defend against: that I am posting these to tear people down. Every piece of feedback I have given on writing has been positive and/or contained specific examples of how to make it better. Not once have I just torn an article apart or made fun of someone's abilities, which I was recently accused of.
I think this site is amazing, and I have wanted to do everything I can to make it better and more fun, though I realize my actions have had the opposite effect. I will be limiting myself a bit in the future, and while it will not be a simple "flick of the switch," I hope the effort is noticed.
As a way of keeping myself from providing unwanted feedback on writing, I will simply offer to help anyone with anything they write. PM me or tag me. I genuinely enjoy it. I've reached out to a ton of people here, both in PMs and on the discussion thread, and I believe you all know that my intentions were positive ones. I look forward to continuing this wonderful past time with all of you, and I hope I can strike a balance between contributing and wearing you the fuck out with overwhelming "input."

I'm glad that post actually had the desired effect, mostly due to the help from @Jiggly_333 I'd imagine (nice work dude).
Props to you for seeing the error of your ways, and I'd like to apologize for my misinformation or not remembering things the way they really happened, along with some of the things said in a public way that should've been kept private.
I'll have to see a change before I believe it but this a good start.
