I guess think of it very much like employees at the same company not being able to talk with a co-worker about their paycheck or about their workload or anything about the different experiences they might be having and any opportunities for an individual to explore a better opportunity for themselves. I hope that makes sense and explains why I currently am in favor of changing the current rules around and enforcement for tampering.

To your second point, you should be able to get an idea of every team through scouting in your first two seasons, and there is little to nothing preventing you from talking about teams with your friends. The only line in the sand is don’t say “leave your team” or “join this team”. In my 15+ months in the league I have regularly talked to people about their experiences and have never tampered anyone, so I’d need to hear more about what you feel you can’t openly discuss.
