Remember Your Roots - Roshambo - 07-19-2017 Ah, college, where the beer flows like wine and where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Choosing the right college is an important step in an aspiring athlete’s career. Exposure, playing time, prestige, all of these things play a factor in getting them to the next step. The NSFL is a melting pot of talent, from Australian internationals to Ohio State all-pros. This brief breakdown will take a closer look at just where our stars, and future stars, call themselves alumni. To start, this is not an exact science/dissection. For instance if *no* college was listed for a prospect instead of college: none, they were not included in this sample. Due to pure numbers most of the smaller schools (including Hard Knocks…) and Canadian colleges were thrown into the “other” category. [div align=\\\"center\\\"] ![]() It’s clear that the BIG 10 dominates our overall numbers, which may come as a bit of a surprise to the “SEC is best!” purists. SEC comes in second though not by much, edging out the PAC12 by just 5 players. Below will break down each of those leading 3 conferences. [div align=\\\"center\\\"] ![]() Michigan takes the BIG 10 in spades with 20 players - more than doubling their next nearest competitor… fittingly Ohio State with 9. So far no player in the NSFL (or coming draft) has played for the Boilermakers, so Purdue is not represented. [div align=\\\"center\\\"] ![]() Trend forming here, LSU again takes the title for the SEC with more than double the next closest team (4 way tie with 3). Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Arkansas, and surprisingly Auburn, have all not had a player called up to the NSFL as of yet. [div align=\\\"center\\\"] ![]() Lastly, the PAC12 is our must evenly spread conference with USC leading with only 6 Trojans in the league or about to hear their name called. 104 separate colleges, a total of 106 walks of life if you include Hard Knocks and no college attended, the scouting teams inside NSFL war rooms will go to the ends of the earth to find the next big star. Who’s next? (342 words, ready to be graded) I got bored. WOOOO DRAFT DAY Graded Remember Your Roots - 7hawk77 - 07-19-2017 This is awesome.
