HO Changeups - bex - 08-26-2020
GM Chat isn't the only place where we will be seeing some new faces. HO will also be welcoming some fresh perspectives for the rest of this season!
@SDCore will be serving as a full member of HO for the rest of the season and @crow19 and @iStegosauruz will join the crew as ISFL interns! We're excited to see what we can accomplish together!

Great to see another fair, open and transparent applications/hiring process for ISFL HO!

Congrats to the guys moving into their new positions! I think everyone selected here has a lot of promise and should do a solid job.
That said I have to ask why was one person hired to HO effectively immediately but the other two put through the intern system? Why weren't all three interns? Why wasn't the hire to full HO made at the end of the season when Infinite had officially stepped down? Why wasn't procedure followed on that particular hire? Nothing against SD, I know he has experience in other leagues and he's a great guy. I'm just curious about the process.

From time to time we make direct hires when is appropriate. (Infinite himself was a direct hire, if I recall correctly.) Direct Hires tend to have a high level of experience or relevant knowledge that is needed at the time of hire. SD is highly qualified, and we are keenly aware of the need for a non-even number of Head Office members at this time. SD has been offered the spot to help meet our league needs for the rest of the season, and we will work with him at season's end to determine if will continue with us past that.
