*Top Points Allowed Per Game of All-Time - Billybolo53 - 08-27-2020

I started looking into this just to see if Sarasota had a chance of breaking the record. Through 9 games Sarasota has allowed 135 points, good for 15 ppg allowed.

Here are the top marks in league history

1. S3    ARI  Arizona Outlaws 166 Points Allowed 14 Games 11.86 PAPG

2. S2    ARI Arizona Outlaws 175 Points Allowed 14 Games 12.5 PAPG

3. S1    OCO Orange County Otters 196 Points Allowed 14 Games 14 PAPG

4. S9    NOLA New Orleans Secondline 197 Points Allowed 14 Games 14.07 PAPG

5. S4    ARI  Arizona Outlaws 203 Points Allowed 14 Games 14.5 PAPG

6. S1    ARI Arizona Outlaws 204 Points Allowed 14 Games 14.57 PAPG

7. S22  YKW Yellowknife Wraiths 196 Points Allowed 13 Games 15.08 PAPG


Sarasota has a chance to break the "modern" record set by Yellowknife, but I doubt anyone touches the S3 record.

When I saw the title I thought it meant the most PPG allowed all-time and I was ready to start crying at the S24 Liberty probably being in it

I started to look into it once you said this, but theres been so many bad defenses. It was too much work. Philly is safe tho SJS had 32.54 in S20

Not sure if it was mentioned, but the S2 and S3 records by AZ have essentially been thrown out. The team had updwards of a half dozen multis on it at that time. Twas bad.

Yep this, plus offenses were at their worst ever just because of low tpe at the league was just starting. Obviously defenses were too, but I'd bet low tpe disproportionately harms offenses through low QB play. 

Does go to show though how good Sarasota's defense has been this season. Colorado was in a similar position halfway through S22, but we regressed. I bet the same happens here as Sarasota's schedule gets a little more difficult.
