Dotts Thoughts #2 - mithrandir - 09-03-2020

I am joined on this episode by an all-star cast of podcast guests. Ask any question you want to know about Dotts, and one of us will have the answer. Caltroit_red_flames is our website developer and has worked tirelessly to make Dotts a reality. Slothfacekilla is an experienced podcaster who has been with  Dotts since the very beginning of its inception in the Luchadores locker room. And finally, shadyshoelace makes his first ever podcast appearance after many seasons in the league. Shady was the creator of the Ultimus champs series and has some insights into design questions you might have. Know that we have launched and people are buying cards, we would love to hear what you think! Give us any comments or questions below that you would like us to respond to. You can address your question to a specific user or generally to whoever knows the answer.

We will also be responding to the results of the Dotts survey and some ideas from the Dotts PT, as well as discussing upcoming series.

but more seriously, I'd love to hear from cal about his process around creating the site and any challenges or learnings he gained from that.

have you thought about doing specific packs for just teams?

what are some programs you have been thinking of doing? (like how madden has Football Outsiders, Ultimate Legends and such)

if you release more types of packs, will the price of the normal pack go down as there would be more options?

Given that there's 700 cards and more coming soon I think my goal is to collect the Philly cards - but others have already asked about team card packs.

Any interest in doing position packs (e.g. a QB pack), draft class packs (e.g. a S22 pack because best draft class), etc.?

Do you have any long term goals for Dotts?

I imagine this might have been asked in the first podcast, but I don't really get a chance to listen to podcasts ever. Was Tijuana collecting PBE cards the birthplace of the Dotts company?

At what point did it click and you decide that this was something we could do in the ISFL?

Was the workload involved to get Dotts off the ground more or equal to what you were expecting it would take coming in?

Any chance that a DSFL trophy cabinet can be a card in the future? Wouldn't mind having one of the Luchadores collection of Ultiminis.
