*Expansion Mock Draft (Based on Sim Overall Rating) - ConnorM123 - 09-05-2020
Hello everyone, firstly let me say a massive congratulations to Woelkers, Bwest, Dewalt and Highhaschdi, I’m sure both teams will have great success on and off the field but this is my fool proof plan set for both teams to guarantee this (in all seriousness this is purely based off overall player ratings on the sim and is most definitely more like a fools plan than fool proof plan, with not much knowledge of the players/expansion draft in general but thought why not lets give this a go). *This is only off the information given on the latest sim file. Retirements and any other factors are not relevant with this mock. If they are available at this point they are most likely taken*.
I'll start off with the initial protection slots that were released, so that's it's a bit easier to follow, for every one and including myself. Note these overalls are from the latest sim file.

1. New York selects – Franklin Armstrong QB- Orange County Otters.
Obvious choice new york gets their franchise QB, overall 100 and at the age of only 19 will be around for many years to come. No brainer pick.
Orange County Protect – Lord Beerus - CB
2. Berlin Selects – Wolfie Mcdummy-QB-Colorado Yeti
Berlin picks up their franchise QB here. Still only 22 and rated 100. Another easy pick in my eyes.

3. Berlin Selects – Nero Alexander- DE- Yellowknife Wraiths
100 Rated, young and a defensive end what more can you ask for. Berlin gets a homewrecker for opposing offenses and the perfect start to their defense.
Yellowknife Wraiths Protect – Matthias Hanyadi - RB
4. New York Selects – Givussafare Rubbe – T – New Orleans Second Line
NY to build round their franchise QB by giving him a 100 rated O lineman. Fair Rubbs indeed.
New Orleans Protect – Forrest Gump - RB

5. New York Selects – Lanzer Grievous – DE – Orange County Otters
Got to go Defence here, solid pick 98 overall, 20 years old, someone to build the defense round.

6. Berlin Selects – Dermot Lavelle Junior – CB Austin Copperheads
Steal this far. 100 rated CB at 18 years old wow. As the saying goes defence wins championships.

7. Berlin Selects – Sean O’Leary – WR Chicago Butchers
Need to start picking offense at some point right. What better than a much needed weapon for Wolfie. 97 Rated Solid pick.
Chicago Protects – Bender Rodriguez - WR
8. New York Selects – Leon Mcdavid – TE – San Jose Sabercats
. Fantastic weapon and blocker to add for Armstrong. Great pick to get a 100 Overall this late on.
San Jose Protects – Tyron Brackenridge – LB
Round 5 –
9. New York Selects – Sandro Ryeu – DE – Arizona Outlaws
Building the trenches up. NY will have a pair of excellent pass rushers to cause opposing offenses quiver in their boots. 97 Overall.
Arizona Protects – Saba Donut WR
10. Berlin Selects – Jerome Unk – G – Arizona Outlaws
Arizona boys back to back. Berlin needs to start investing in the oline and thankfully there are still plenty of options including this guy. 95 Rating and is still young so can only improve.

First RB off the board and of course it has to be the highest rated taken (96 Overall). Great pairing for Wolfie.

Definitely has to be the pick here. Highest rated available corner at 96.
Sarasota Protects – Son Goku - DE

13. New York Selects – Rando Cardrissian – RB – San Jose Sabercats
2nd RB off the board and another solid one at 93.

14. Berlin Selects – Laszlo Forty-Two – T- Yellow Knife Wraiths
Steal of the draft right here. 97 Overall Lineman falling THIS far. (might have just noticed this guy, but we’ll stick on both teams failing to spot him)

So just after half way in this draft I thought we would just do a quick recap (Purely so I can record what has/has not been taken) all I do know is these teams I have built are sensational and I hope the GM’s of either team have managed to get through this without having an epiphany moment like "oh my god this boy’s a genius’’ I know I know. Anyways going off on a tangent let’s get this done.

15. Berlin Selects – Tree Gelbman – TE Chicago Butchers
At this point its mostly going to be filling in the positions of need. Nothing on this though great pick at 94 rating in a position of need.

May have used the steal card a little early. 94 Rated receiver (high on fantasy draft boards for this season) another great weapon for Armstrong.

Name alone deserves to be much higher. But first safety off the board. 91 Rated.

18. Berlin Selects – Quenton Bode – LB New Orleans Second Line
First linebacker off the board. Why these positions are so low is a combination of the low overalls available (comparable to other positions) plus the S25 ISFL draft class is stacked with safeties and linebackers so these should not be much of a priority. 93 rated so still a great pick this low.

90 overall receiver, more weapons.

Well if anyone made it down this far congratulations I barely did myself. I know there will be a few innacuracies in there, there is a number of other factors to look at, when building a squad. wish all the teams the best of luck in the expansion draft and shall be keeping a close eye on what happens with it.

Btw expansion GMs I advise not drafting me. I'm going to free agency this offseason and I already have two teams in mind that I want to consider going to. A pick used on me would be a waste.

fwiw guy said based on overall rating and in sim the game doesn't change the ages because we import the sheet every season, so people retiring or being old or w/e doesn't apply here
