DDSPF is dumb, here's how I think the tiebreakers went down - infinitempg - 09-11-2020 SO you've probably seen now that despite being 3rd in the standings, Arizona is 4th in the playoff seeding and therefore not actually a playoff team. This is dumb, but whatever. How did this happen? I think I may have figured it out. Code: 4 WAY TIE BREAKER So, the regular standings page probably only tiebreaks by the first head to head and calls it a day, splitting any further ties by H2H/PF if necessary but just going with the overall order it started with. The playoff system seems to be only looking for the top team in each, and then starting over again. Hope that makes sense. JK it doesn't but maybe this will clear things up. RE: DDSPF is dumb, here's how I think the tiebreakers went down - NicholasTheGreat - 09-12-2020 Can you use code to make me happy again? RE: DDSPF is dumb, here's how I think the tiebreakers went down - JPach - 09-12-2020 infinite, for playoff seeding i think it takes ARI and NOLA H2H which is 1-1 and then goes to conf record so NOLA is 5-5 and ARI is 4-6 RE: DDSPF is dumb, here's how I think the tiebreakers went down - infinitempg - 09-12-2020 (09-12-2020, 09:12 PM)JPach Wrote: infinite, for playoff seeding i think it takes ARI and NOLA H2H which is 1-1 and then goes to conf record so NOLA is 5-5 and ARI is 4-6 that's... what i said? RE: DDSPF is dumb, here's how I think the tiebreakers went down - Air Crou - 09-13-2020 Expand the playoffs to 4 teams. Problem solved.
