*Human Offensive Line Season & Career Records - NicholasTheGreat - 09-12-2020 The Sim we use in the league does keep records for seasons and careers and are often an accurate indication of a player’s greatness. However one position group does not have this indication of a player’s greatness – the Offensive Line. The history of Offensive line has been an interesting tale through the sheer number in the early season to the removal of Offensive line almost after season three. The removal is the result of the introduction of offensive line bots which is what we will be discussing now. Having bots in the league allowed for these robots to set records in the season and career as if they were human players. There was no way in the sim to differentiate the human lineman to bot offensive lineman in regards to statistics. This Is why this article is here, to bring you the accurate records and figures for human offensive lineman. Offensive Lineman have two statistics, sacks and pancakes. Through this article, I will tell you the record holders in a season in each of these categories and tell you the career records as well, so let’s get started! Sacks Allowed in a Season [Top 10] 1 – Thaddeus Bullard | Las Vegas Legion | Season 3 | 20 Sacks Allowed 2 – Adam Bennett | Philadelphia Liberty | Season 2 | 17 Sacks Allowed 3 – Sammy Walters | Philadelphia Liberty | Season 3 | 16 Sacks Allowed 4 – Daniel Robicheaux | Colorado Yeti | Season 2 | 13 Sacks Allowed 4 – Bradley MadLad | Orange County Otters | Season 3 | 13 Sacks Allowed 4 – Tim Tebow | Las Vegas Legion | Season 3 | 13 Sacks Allowed 7 – Tim Pest | Arizona Outlaws | Season 1 | 12 Sacks Allowed 7 – Matt James | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 3 | 12 Sacks Allowed 7 – Gadget Tech | Colorado Yeti | Season 2 | 12 Sacks Allowed 7 – Braden Sharp | San Jose Sabercats | Season 3 | 12 Sacks Allowed 7 – Adam Bennett | Philadelphia Liberty | Season 3 | 12 Sacks Allowed 7 – Dorfus Jimbo Jr. | New Orleans Second Line | Season 23 | 12 Sacks allowed. This is the list any Offensive Lineman doesn’t want to belong on. As time goes on the build an Offensive Lineman needs to become successful has become known and has lead to less sacks overall given up. This can be the reason behind the vast majority of high sack allowed seasons being in the beginnings of the league and not more recent times. The lone exception in this list is Dorfus Jimbo Jr, who got his name added to this list last season when he had one of the worst Offensive line seasons in recent league history. Pancakes in a season [Top 20] 1 – Givussarefarre Rubbe | New Orleans Second Line | Season 24 | 95 Pancakes 2 – Byron Dolls | Baltimore Hawks | Season 24 | 93 Pancakes 3 – Tim Pest | Arizona Outlaws | Season 4 | 92 Pancakes 3 – Laszlo Forty-Two | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 24 | 92 Pancakes 5 – Laszlo Forty-Two | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 23 | 87 Pancakes 6 – Laszlo Forty-Two | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 22 | 85 Pancakes 7 – Bruce Buckley | Arizona Outlaws | Season 23 | 84 Pancakes 8 – Mo ‘Mamba’ Magic | Colorado Yeti | Season 24 | 83 Pancakes 9 – Bruce Buckley | Arizona Outlaws | Season 24 | 82 Pancakes 10 – Benson Bayley Jr. | Chicago Butchers | Season 24 | 79 Pancakes 11 – Byron Dolls | Baltimore Hawks | Season 23 | 77 Pancakes 11 – Douglas Quail | Orange County Otters | Season 24 | 77 Pancakes 13 – Simon Tremblay | Philadelphia Liberty | Season 23 | 76 Pancakes 14 – Tim Pest | Arizona Outlaws | Season 3 | 75 Pancakes 14 – Givussarefarre Rubbe | New Orleans Second Line | Season 23 | 75 Pancakes 14 – Hal Fassingit | Austin Copperheads | Season 24 | 75 Pancakes 18 – Benson Bayley Jr. | Chicago Butchers | Season 23 | 74 Pancakes 19 – Givussarefarre Rubbe | New Orleans Second Line | Season 21 | 73 Pancakes 19 – Ben Longshaw | San Jose Sabercats | Season 2 | 73 Pancakes What a list of names here and there is a bit to analyse here so let’s start. - 6 of the top 10 pancakes seasons come from season 24 which can be attributed to the 16 game schedule. The longest schedule in recent years will boost season records and career records, especially for the young offensive lineman. As a result the seasons from early National Simulation Football League like Ben Longshaw and Tim Pest should be especially noted as extraordinary. - On a similar note, I am pretty thankful that Tim Pest’s record got beat this season as it would’ve been really awkward giving an ER multi the award and record. I was really un sure about including him but now that he isn’t on the top, I can include him with an Asterix. - Laszlo improved continuously during his 3 seasons as an offensive lineman, Hall of Famer. - Rubbe is on the list 3 times, Laszlo is there 3 times as well. Dolls, Bayley, Buckley and Quail are there twice. Sacks Allowed in a Career [Top 10] 1 – Adam Bennett | Philadelphia Liberty | Season 2-3 | 29 Sacks Allowed 2 – Bender Rodriguez | Colorado Yeti & Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 1-3 | 27 Sacks Allowed 2 – Vincent Sharpei | Baltimore Hawks & San Jose Sabercats | Season 1-3 | 27 Sacks Allowed 4 – Tim Tebow | San Jose Sabercats & Las Vegas Legion | Season 1-4 | 25 Sacks Allowed 5 – Alex Thomas | Arizona Outlaws | Season 1-4 | 23 Sacks Allowed 6 – D’Brickashaw Ferguson | Yellowknife Wraiths & Orange County Otters | Season 1-3 | 22 Sacks Allowed 6 – Edmond Beaver-Dantes | Austin Copperheads | Season 16-24 | 22 Sacks Allowed 8 – Samuel Bakhtiari | Arizona Outlaws & Sarasota Sailfish | Season 20 -> | 20 Sacks Allowed 8 – Thaddeus Bullard | Las Vegas Legion | Season 3 | 20 sacks allowed. 10 – Ben Longshaw | San Jose Sabercats | Season 1-3 | 19 Sacks Allowed. - Just like the single season record, the career sacks allowed chart is primarily filled with 1st era players who played before the introduction of Offensive Line bots. - Beaver-Dantes retires from the league 6th all time in sacks allowed. - Thaddeus Bullard makes the list only playing OL in one season which is extraordinary. - The only active lineman in double digits in their career is Dorfus Jimbo Jr. who is on 16 career sacks. Could Scorp find his way on this list after Season 25? Career Pancake Records [Top 20] 1 – Edmond Beaver-Dantes | Austin Copperheads | Season 16-24 | 495 Pancakes 2 – Givussarefarre Rubbe | New Orleans Second Line | Season 19-> | 419 Pancakes 3 – Tim Pest | Arizona Outlaws | Season 1-4 | 271 Pancakes 4 – Laszlo Forty-Two | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 22-24 | 264 Pancakes 5 – Brave Ulysses | New Orleans Second Line | Season 18-22 | 258 Pancakes 6 – Bruce Buckley | Arizona Outlaws | Season 22-> | 229 Pancakes 7 – Byron Dolls | Baltimore Hawks | Season 22-> | 215 Pancakes 8 – Samuel Bakhtiari | Arizona Outlaws & Sarasota Sailfish | Season 20-> | 205 Pancakes 9 – Angus Winchester | Orange County Otters | Season 1-3 | 190 Pancakes 10 – Hal Fassingit | Austin Copperheads | Season 22-> | 187 Pancakes 11 – Mat Akselsen | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 1-3 | 178 Pancakes 12 – Jogn Floggity | Yellowknife Wraiths | Season 1-3 | 154 Pancakes 13 – Benson Bayley Jr. | Chicago Butchers | Season 23-> | 153 Pancakes 14 – Douglas Quail | Orange County Otters | Season 23-> | 152 Pancakes 15 – Vincent Sharpei | Baltimore Hawks & San Jose Sabercats | Season 1-3 | 148 Pancakes 15 – Calvin Golloday | Arizona Outlaws | Season 22-> | 148 Pancakes 17 – Greg Clegane | Orange County Otters | Season 1-3 | 144 Pancakes 18 – Ben Longshaw | San Jose Sabercats | Season 1-3 | 140 19 – Simon Tremblay | Philadelphia Liberty | Season 23-> | 138 20 – Maximmus Chungus | Arizona Outlaws | Season 20-21 | 134 - Edmond Beaver-Dantes retires the all time pancakes record holder - Chances are Givussarefarre Rubbe overtakes EBD at the end of next season. - The youth in the league will take over the list and move up steadily. Starts with Bruce Buckley in 6th position who will more then likely end up 3rd at the end of season 25. - Angus Winchester in 9th is the only Hall of Famer on this list. This should hopefully change as time goes on. Appreciate the shout out man. Here is hoping the league finally does give a genuine Fair Rub. *fingers crossed* Also didn't know I was 4th all-time in pancakes. Kind of cool.
