*Carlito Crush Stepping Down In Austin - JKortesi81 - 09-20-2020 Completely unsurprising news coming out of Austin, Texas today as the handsome GM of the Austin Copperheads, Carlito Crush, has announced he will be stepping down from the position for at least this season. ISFL Head Office decreed that Crush illegally left Supermodel QB Easton Cole unprotected, and is therefore forcing Crush to step down, as he is banned from GMing the team he helped build and create for at a minimum of one season. Crush was the initial Co-GM of Copperheads, joining Team Founder Charlie Law almost from the start of the franchise. He's helped guide the Copperheads to two Ultimus appearances in their short existence, including a win in Season 20. Sadly, despite my best efforts, I have to step down from my beloved Copperheads. I think anyone who's ever heard one of my podcasts know just how much i love my team, and i'm pretty freaking biased about it. It just wasn't worth it to me to protect Easton Cole, since he's an aging QB who has 1 or 2 seasons left, when we have so many amazing younger players that shouldn't have been left unprotected in expansion. I hate it, but sometimes you just have to do what's best for the franchise. Our team is going to be fine, as we have a bad ass war room that's running things very, very well. It just sucks to not be a part of it anymore. I was going to make this a lot longer, but I just can't. Life, you know? Thanks for reading everyone. Take care of yourselves. -JK RE: Carlito Crush Stepping Down In Austin - Mooty99 - 09-21-2020 I can't believe this is how I am hearing about this! Thank you Joe for creating this team with Adam and being a rock for it, I know you will continue to be that as well |
