With alot of great talent in this draft and joining the draft class late I knew I would be behind on tpe and expected to drop in the draft. I wasn't sure where I was gonna go as only a few teams had reached out to me. I figured it was bc I was a recreate and they kinda knew what to expect.
That said I didn't expect to drop to the 5th round. That was a complete shocker to me honestly. With the ties I had made in SJS and YellowKnife along with Butters in Baltimore I was sure i would go to one of them in like the third round or close to that. I was at work on draft night and missed it. I woke up with a message from Frost saying welcome to Sarasota.
While im happy to be in Sarasota and have Frost as my GM it took me by surprise when I watched the draft and seen where I went. Let me just say, yall need new scouts and war rooms. Ill play the draft steal card again like I did with Action. This time though im going to do better. Action had a decent career im proud of but Dexter will be a beast.
This is to put you on notice. Thank you to Sarasota and Frost for taking me. I won't disappoint you. This is a young team that has fight and will make noise. Lets go out there and kick ass and prove everyone else wrong.

Really bummed we couldn't bring you home to YKW, but you're gonna crush it in SAR. Best of luck as you start your career!

Pumped to have you as a teammate! I was shocked that you feel to us in the 5th. In a few seasons, people are going to look at our 5th round and be blown away by the value we got there. Sarasota is gonna be good for a long time.
