*Lorenzo Smith II Part 2 BIO - FreeSafety - 11-12-2020
PART 2 :.He will impress league veterans and respect every single person. Because at the end of the day he wants the team to be as successful as it can . You know lorenzo would cry himself to sleep at night almost every night. The hardship this man had to go through the adversity he faced. Help him become a better man overall. Like I said above he would sleep on the bleachers because that's the only place he felt safe and where he felt happy .It was his escape.People made fun of him from the way he dressed to . He didn’t care, he always promised himself he was always gonna be the better person. That he was gonna be a man of honor. This biology about him shows you his true colors . Lorenzo was involved in his community any way he could . He was always helping old folks with the groceries . He just had a heart and he always would put kindness into the world anyway he could. Like you name it he helps with charities and Local Homeless shelters. He wanted to make sure people were okay . So what if his parents abandoned him . They were missing out on seeing one of the brightest persons grow as an individual . They won’t get to see his success because they rejected him. They never will get to see his true beauty and kindness. He shines so bright and I know I have said that multiple times but it's true . Can you name anybody that's like this kid and shines as bright as a star as him. This is why so many colleges recruited him so much and he went on so many visits. But they always thought he wasn't built enough. He would very much get built and eventually like I said he proved these coaches wrong. He had so much fun on visits and he saw what every school had to offer and he listened to what they would promise him . He always standed out on his visits . He would even try to give advice to some of the players on that team. So at the end of the day that's why these coaches loved him and wanted him even more. Like the attitude he brought to these camps were amazing, his work ethic showed because of how much he listened.He would even bring a notepad to write little notes and draw what the players were doing on it. He is very different from yoru average american playing sports tremendously .Like his mind is literally a football playbook . When people are sleeping he is drawing plays. He dreams about plays . He is just built differently. Like one time on a visit a coach asks him questions at the beginning at the end he asks the same like 12 hours later and Lorenzo remembers all the questions . He has an excellent memory and he is blessed with that . When he is in the game he doesn't even have to look at the play call because he already knows what is coming.His reach is awesome he just has a tremendous arm strength he did a blitz one time and he pushes the linemen outta the way . They couldn’t stop him, they tried to double team him and he got to the quarterback for a sack. Like the moves he used is the moves a nfl player does. He is far more developed than other prospects are . His legs are strong to one time in practice they asked him to punt a ball and when he punt it went 80 yards . He has strength all around and he knows that. Coaches bombarded him with recruiting letters when he was in high school. Like it was insane. Like some of the letters would go on and on about how bad they wanted to get lorenzo here and have him hit the weight room so he could get even bigger. Others said how they could help him improve as a person and how they will teach him how to become a better man overall, he felt overwhelmed sometimes but he was just enjoying the moment like any highschool kid would . Like till this day he still gets excited thinking about his highschool days and the time he made his decision. Which we will get to soon so be patient. Like man all the offers pouring in from all over the places from all these conferences. Lorenzo felt like a king in a castle; they all wanted him and he felt so happy. A moment he wished he could go back and enjoy again . Like the thrill of it was unreal he had trouble sleeping sometimes at night because he couldn’t keep his excitement in the letters kept pouring in and in . His school was astonished they had a rising star and they knew it . Lorenzo teachers always told him how special he was, how much potential he was gonna have on and off the field. Now you gotta imagine what it was like for dear lorenzo. He had all the spotlights shining on him . He had national tv broadcasting for when he made his decision. People were talking about him on the news going where do you think lorenzo is gonna go ? people had ideas but nobody knew for certain only dear lorenzo knew what he wanted. Eventually he knew he would have to narrow down his options . He went over with ta advisors what his options were. He wanted to make sure he went to the right school for his education not just because they had a great football team. It was very hard being recruited by as many schools. Lorenzo was faced with a difficult task . Yet again Lorenzo would not let any task overtake him . So for starters he began looking at the conferences . He looked through the SEC , The BIG TEN, The ACC, THE Pac-12, The BIG 12. He looked at how their academics were nationally. He looked at the school food options you know because he wants to make sure he is eating healthy.He looks at the athletic dorms because that's where he would be living for the next 3 years. He looked at the types of degrees they had. Yes he wanted to play professional football but It is always good to have a backup plan in case you get hurt.Always gotta make sure you have a backup plan. Nothing is ever promised. You're also not promised tomorrow. So you gotta live the moment . That's what Lorenzo also did. He also wanted to make sure he maintained his grades while also playing college football. Because In highschool lorenzo had all honors classes. He was also getting A+. He would strive to be the best that he could be on and off the field. He was smart and he was athletic. But he also wanted a college coach that would help him with his grades . He also wanted to play football in one of the toughest conferences . So his choices started to come in . He had Alabama,Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M ,Oklahoma,LSU,Auburn,Ohio state, Michigan , Notre Dame,Georgia ,Florida ,Ole miss, Mississippi state, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oregon,USC and more schools. It was a tight race between all these schools and it was not an easy process. It was very difficult . But he wanted a school that would let him be himself and let him have fun and go out and meet new friends and talk with new people. Because Lorenzo was always a people person, always like having conversations with people, always like having meetups . He would like to go out and explore that's what he wanted to do . He always likes going to new places. He was an explorer . His town was small so he really didn’t have the opportunity . So he wanted to go to a big college with a big population . But also had a lot of activities. He knew when he made his decision the whole world would be happy and that put a smile on his face. The days got shorter and his decision was gonna come soon . People were waiting. The Cameras were on. The Mic was on . He knew he was gonna have to make a decision soon . He bought the hats . He bought a suit and he had a nice clean shave. He felt happy and he was ready. He would walk to school and he would prepare to make his announcement. People on instagram were commenting on lorenzo's post. They were making guesses.Lorenzo was nervous was he gonna make the right decision or was it the wrong decision. His future was at stake here. It wasn't just some quick decision. This decision was gonna affect him for the rest of his life . He was going to get his degree there. He will probably meet his future wife there. Being an 18 year old kid that seems terrifying you are thrown off guard with such a difficult decision. But Lorenzo remains calm and he handles the pressure. Because he felt like he was making the best decision for himself.The room goes quiet . People hold their breath in because they can’t scream yet. Lorenzo has hats lined up on the table. 5 hats present . Alabama,Texas,LSU,Oklahoma, Ohio state. He puts the Ohio State people screaming then it falls to the floor. People sit back down. He then puts on the LSU hat on and It stays then it falls to the ground yet again. He then stands up and unzips his jacketted . A Alabama crimson tide logo shows . People start screaming they can’t hold in their excitement .People going crazy banging things .Doing backflips. Running to Lorenzo telling him congrats and that they can’t wait to see him take the field for the tide because they know he is going to a special program . They know his true potential will be unleashed and he will be a monster on the college field.People tweet about it. Lights are flashing everywhere. He is jumping up and down. He can't hold in his happiness . Alabama players start dming him on instagram. He has Najee Harris texting him. Jaylen waddle texting him and Devonta Smith and . Patrick Surtain,Malachi Moore. His follower count is blowing up people. Lorenzo has tears going down his face. He is so happy. He has worked so hard to get to the next level. The tears keep continuing to flow and they can’t stop. Lorenzo drops to his knee . His friends come to surround him. This is one of the biggest moments in Lorenzo's life; he will cherish it for the rest of his life. Because you only get this type of moment once in your life and you have to cherish it every second you get . People will remember . Time will fly by but you must always cherish your memories. Lorenzo Bestfriend Name Dylan comes to hug him because he knows how big of a deal this is for him. He just wants to be there for his buddy who has made it big very big. He is going to a team that has won a lot of national championships and are pure winners and are always dominating the collegiate world.Lorenzo sits there and he and Dylan keep hugging . Dylan has had a huge impact on Lorenzo's life . He has been there through the ups and downs.He has always helped pick Lorenzo up when he gets knocked down . Always told Lorenzo he was gonna be something special . That he has what it takes. Lorenzo and Dylan became friends ever since they could remember how to talk. They are more than friends, they are brothers.So Lorenzo cares very much about Dylan too. You know Dylan promised Lorenzo he would follow him wherever he goes. Because he said that's what brothers do. Dylan Played football too , He wasn’t as good as Lorenzo but he was getting recruited by nearly the same schools they were a package deal. Dylan wore number 3 while Lorenzo wore number 26. They always had each other back if Dylan missed a tackle Lorenzo was there to grab the guy he missed. Both Were amazing guys But Lorenzo was way better and Dylan knew that. Lorenzo was so excited that he and Dylan were gonna be teammates on the crimson tide. Okay so now fast forward. Lorenzo has just now checked into the Athletic dorm. Lorenzo has learned he will Be rooming with Dylan and Mac Jones.WOW freshman gets to room with a potential heisman candidate . Can you imagine that lorenzo was so happy to have a chance to meet him.In the athletic dorm they had a strict schedule they had to be in bed no later than ten and they had to have lights out. Being in the athletic dorm was fun; they got to play pranks on each other. They got to run through the locker room . Lorenzo one time flooded the door. He got in trouble of course and the coach made him a gasser. He has done a lot of stupid stuff thats just being a kid. Overtime he learned and became a better person. Overall He was wild with the athletic guys but that's just part of playing football. He and Dylan would go out and explore in the night . But one night this is lowkey sad here. Dylan never came back to his dorm . Lorenzo found out later that evening Dylan was killed in a car crash. He was hurt, he just lost his best friend that is sad on anybody . Losing your best friend like that can you imagine yall did so much stuff together and wanted to help raise each other's family only that didn’t happen. It hurts you know. Lorenzo knew in his next game he must play to honor his friend. So everytime Lorenzo makes a play he holds up 3 fingers to honor his lost buddy. Lorenzo will always play for Dylan as this bio draws to a close I hope each and everyone of you guys who took the time to reply to this thank you now back to the bio few last words. Lorenzo never let any sad moment change who he was as a person and to this day he still is honoring dylan. Lorenzo also achieved one of the highest college honors he won the heisman. He also won 3 national championships during his time at bama . He set historical records. He set the bar for what it takes to become a Alabama football player he was a 3x all american 3xINT leader. He will be remembered as one of the best college athletes ever. In the end he earned respect for all of his peers and coaches. He will always be remembered as one of the best safeties to play the game as he goes and enters the dsfl draft he will always be remembered as Torch smith.
