Stepping down from HO - Exilizer - 11-14-2020 Hi all, as no doubt some of you have already seen in the latest HO newsletter, I have decided to step down as a HO member after over half a year as both an intern and full HO member. There are a number of reasons for this, but first and foremost, I had recently felt extremely exhausted with the additional duties that the position brings and as such was starting to slowly loose interest in the league, which I deeply regretted. Truth is that the forum migration took a lot out of me (at the time I spent every waking hour not working my actually real day job, to make the migration happen for about a whole month leading up to it). I do believe however, that after some initial teething issues, the league is in a much better place now that we have moved on from jcink and this will continue to open up new possibilities in the future. Aside from this, I wanted others to have the same opportunity that I had, by stepping up into a full HO role, and giving back to the league. I would like to say thanks to @bex for believing in me, first when hiring me as an intern in April and then promoting me to a full HO member in early June (and of course thanks to the other HO members who voted for me at the time). Thanks to @infinitempg for being a one person army, I learned a lot from you. Thanks to @TeyonSchavari for teaching me the regression ropes, and @iStegosauruz for taking on what is probably the most tiresome one-off HO responsibility (tradition) each season. I would be remiss not to thank all the others who hold league jobs that keep this place running around the clock. During my time in HO the league has undergone a period of enormous change and growth, and I am proud to have played a part in that, it truly has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in an online community. With my recent FA team change, and leaving HO, I feel like I will be better able to enjoy focusing on developing my player again, and have a ton of fun going forward.
