I wasn’t sure how to start this media but I really wanted to make sure that I talk about each and every person within this league that has made a difference in an impact on my life. To start this off I need to make sure that I talk about my favorite person in the league IsaStarcrossed. While always being my rock in everything and supporting me 100% no matter what, he has been the best friend and boyfriend I could ask for. He invited me into this league numerous times, and I’m glad that I was finally able to accept and join him in a place he has enjoyed and made a ton of friends.
J0EB and Blasoon are next on my list. Even though our interactions didn’t start off great (to be fair, Joey, I was given permission) the two of you found it within your hearts to take a chance claiming a waiver that had a horrifying pfp. All because of Isa, and your trust that I’d be a good player and addition to the locker room. Since then, the two of you welcomed me with open arms, you included me in all aspects of your locker room and part of your lives, supported me when I felt like my IRL was spiraling out of control, and continued to support me through updates, frustrations with my lack of understanding and more. You all led me to an Ultimini playoff series and ultimate win, and for that I am forever thankful. You didn’t ban me when Melvin took over Guava-Fresca’s life and you worked to make sure that we did the best we ultimately could. You and Norfolk will forever be a part of my life.
Scorp. While I wasn’t initially well versed in scorpese, I knew from the beginning that you were a good egg. You gave me moose gifs, and the adorable ferret gif in our otter tag. You took me as a wallaby player, and have made it such that I feel thankful to have known you and your obsession with Taco Bell. You’re a staple in Norfolk, and I think that it is so important for you to know that you make a positive impact in our locker room each and every day. I am sad you were never my Norfolk GM but I know that it is because of you and Juni that we got Joey and Blasoon, and so I have to still think you helped guide them into the right path the entire time.
Juniped. Juni, I know you don’t spend as much time with us as you used too, but I miss you and miss all of your panda obsession. From accidentally making you buy new panda shirts, to just talking and enjoying getting to know you, I wouldn’t think Norfolk would be what it was without you, either.
Bex. One of my first introductions into the locker room, instantly assigning girl gang gang role, and being a long time friend of Isas, Bex is one of the guiding forces in Norfolk. While she’s busier and quieter these days, when she can spare time to just hang with us are still some of the best days.
Tesla. I wrote an entire media about Tesla once, because she is hands down the nicest player in the entire league. She makes you want to be a better person, for the sole reason that she is always engaging with everyone. It doesn’t matter what, Tesla reads and responds when she is around, and always in a positive way. While she will scold you if necessary (and please, it’s a horrifying experience don’t ask for it), she cares deeply about her teammates and this league. Whatever Tesla does, her heart is always in a positive place. And if you have never read her DSFL recaps, you’re really missing out.
Teyon. The man who is my boyfriends boyfriend, and the sender of puppy gifs. I’m glad we are Seawolves together, and I am so glad you found a home for Captain Rogers that will let you focus on your career. You’ve inadvertently shaped my life through being Isas friend, and now my friend too, and for that I am eternally grateful.
Hotdog and Lightnoir. I’ve put you together due to the unfortunate incident where I mixed you up. I know you are not as active as you once were in Norfolk, but I also know that the team wouldn’t have been the same without you. I am glad that wherever you are now, Hotdog, you have a cellyhotdog to use.
Tmo, Connor, Jimi, Lanced - I am grouping the four of you together because you became our Seapuppers together. I know that you have all already gone on to do amazing things in the league, from graphics to sim team, wiki to being the new Norfolk GM. You have all been so active and engaged and make everyone want to be better because of being in Norfolk. You brought us our new season meme, great players that you scouted in the next draft and more. I know that if you are all around that Norfolk is in good hands in the future.
Dogwood and 37thChamber. You have become the new guard of the Seawolves. Between your activity in our locker room, the amazing articles and debates that we have all had in the locker room, I am so glad that we could pick you up in this past draft.
Van and Pau. I knew you more from the Super Casual league, but I am so glad that you two could join us in Norfolk. You’ve worked together as a team to help Pau earn money and have an amazing friendship which only makes everyone’s time in the league more fun. Van has worked hard to carry and be the running back that our devastated Norfolk team needed, and I adore you both.
Valor. While we were never teammates within the Seawolves, you are a staple in our locker room. Your heart is always in the right place, and I truly am glad to have shared a locker room with you. I know that you will continue to do amazing things in your life and in the league moving forward.
To my new coming seapuppers, and those who have drifted in and out here and there, I am so grateful for you, and I am so glad that you are getting to join us for the future.
In my Yeti world:
Woelkers. I know you aren’t a Yeti anymore, but without you, I wouldn’t be one either. The fact that we’ve become close enough friends in our short time makes me so happy. I hope that we can continue to stay friends, and in the future, I hope that I can return the favor of you coming to our wedding. You made the rest of my league life happy and happen, and I am so glad that you came into my life.
Syl, TVC and Frick. I am grouping you because, why not, it’s my media. You are and were my collective GMs and more. You set the tone for the Yeti, and you have made it a place where we can just hang out and chill. Whether it is playing games together, venting about life, sharing cute pictures of our littles, or fighting against Syls dumb idea of the day, you all have made the Yeti one of the places I want to be. You are the ones that made me want to join the Yeti so much during scouting and during the draft, and I am so glad you took the chance on me, and drafted me. MMM wants to make you proud as a linebacker these days.
Infinite. I tried to earn myself into your good graces by making the Wolfie plushie, but you are just a good egg. You are the heart and sole of the Yeti team. From selflessness and knowing that you have made the Yeti what we are today, I am so glad that I got to share the field during your last season on Wolfie. I look forward to the day that we can share the field again in the future.
Bagel. I am so so so glad we got to spend time together this season. Between you giving me more moose emojis to add, to helping as a rookie mentor, and being just an all around amazing person, I cannot imagine my life or the league without you now. You carry us on your back when we play games together, and you are also just willing and wanting to chill, without any stress or worries or care. Thank you for being on Yeti with me.
Kicky. I adore you. Seeing you in chat just makes me happy and makes me want to talk to you more. I loved our kicky mentoring times, and your thoughts of betrayal when I position swapped, and our newfound friendship. You make the Yeti a positive place just by existing.
Run. You have influenced the culture of the Yeti, and your typos, your excitement about Salamanders, and more make me happy. While I am sad you are no longer a Yeti, I am beyond thrilled you were able to break records this year. Please don’t still hate me because I said the wrong thing. Please.
Swanky. You are one of my favorites just for the deadpan. It never fails to make me giggle. You have some one liners that just… make me die laughing. I’m glad I’ve been able to spend this time with you in the locker room.
Lim. I feel like we don’t get enough time chatting together, but you are equally a staple and stable force within the Yeti. You make our team even better and I am so glad you are my teammate.
Nunc & Eph. I am grouping the two of you as both current/former Yeti players (thanks for letting me steal your linebacker spot, Eph) and as members of DSFL HO. You both have been amazing teammates, and you are amazing people to share a locker room with. From finding out we both grew up within 20 minutes of each other, to sharing our frustrations with public service jobs and more, you are wonderful people. You also gave me a chance when hiring me as the RM Head, and have been a great support and foundation to continue keeping the rookie experience amazing. Thank you for all that you do for the league, because it wouldn’t be as great without you both.
Katarn ne SDCore. You have found your place in our Yeti team, and you keep making our team and our war room stronger. You both care about this league and the team, and while we may have some extreme differences on food takes (looking at you mostly SD) we also have found some common ground, for sure.
Edd, Soup, Rusfan, Nhamlet, Dahayn, and my other Yeti friends. I know that we don’t always talk a lot, but I am glad that we have gotten to share the team and the locker room. I know that you have all joined us for different reasons, but I am glad you also believe the Yeti is your home.
My non locker room thank yous:
Tom. You have been a big supporter of our rookies, and a big supporter of me moving into this position and I am glad that we have been able to chat and get to know one another more. Thank you for being there for me on the Wallabies, too.
Rookie Mentor Team: you are all amazing. Between the new hires we have had over this past season, and all of the work that the old guard continues to put in regularly, this league 100% falls apart without you. You make our new friends feel comfortable and ready and excited to join. I look forward to many more seasons with you.
There are so many more of you that I cannot remember, and I am trying to make sure that you know you have made a big difference. Please message me, call me out here in comments, or do whatever else seems fit. I will write you your own personalized thank you because I need you all to know what a difference you have made for me.
DUKE. I AM SO SORRY. You are my new favorite VP of operations in the Yeti. You have a selfless attitude for our team, and you are the quiet wisdom and snark that shows its face in our locker room. I am so sad that Purchase is getting on in age, because I feel as though we will never have had enough time together.

Massive thank you is in order to you Narr, you were and still are always there for any of the questions we have about the league and you are an amazing presence in our LR. I don't think I would be this involved if it wasn't for Norfolk and you were a MASSIVE part in that!
