*S27 Running Back Prospect Review - Guunar - 11-25-2020 I’m hoping to get some extra money to buy some equipment so I decided to write about the running backs in the next season of the DSFL draft and look at the waiver running backs too. You’ll have to forgive me since I’m not the best at writing and this took me awhile to do. So, let’s get into it! Xander Creed College: Colorado Age: 22 Handedness: Right Jersey Number: 30 Height (ft.): 5'10 Weight (lbs.): 210 lbs Birthplace: Los Angeles, CA Player Archetype: Speed Back The first running back we’ll take a look at is Xander Creed. He’s got the popular speed back archetype and shows it with 84 speed to start. I’m seeing that he’s got 82 TPE on his page and looks like the top running back of the class with the most TPE out of all the prospects. He’s most likely the top pick in the DSFL draft for any team looking to fill an RB2 slot but with his gains in the offseason I could see him starting for a DSFL team if they need any backfield. Buck Nekkid College: UH Age: 20 Handedness: Left Jersey Number: 75 Height (ft.): 6'2" Weight (lbs.): 225lbs Birthplace: Hawaii Player Archetype: Speed Back The second running back I’ll review is Buck Nekkid. Besides the funny name, he’s another speed back who’s a recreate and will probably be the second running back picked based on his previous history and build. He’s invested into speed early on and will probably be a good pick based on his last player’s progress. Definitely worth a look for teams who need a running back. Drip Dad College: Golden West College Age: 22 Handedness: R Jersey Number:8 Height (ft.): 6'0" Weight (lbs.): 202 Birthplace: Portland, Oregon, USA Player Archetype: Receiving Back Drip Dad is the third running back that I’d put down as being drafted. He’s a receiving back who can play a versatile role on any DSFL team and he’s got a good overall build of speed, agility, and hands. I think this guy has a ton of potential in the DSFL since he can provide teams with lots of offensive options. He’s got a lot of posts and is probably a good pick for the DSFL. Massimo Rocco College: Wyoming Age: 21 Handedness: Right Jersey Number:40 Height (ft.): 6'0" Weight (lbs.): 225 lbs Birthplace: Yonkers, NY Player Archetype: Speed Back Rocco is the next speed back I’ll look at. I’m seeing a big theme here with speed backs and their initial TPE into the speed attribute. He’s got a good spread of attributes though into strength and agility so he’s worth a look at for teams who want a diverse speed back. He seems fairly active so he’ll probably be the 4th or 5th running back picked to a DSFL team. He’s done a lot of activities on the site and has even afforded some training which is a big bonus. Ace Savage College: University of Tennessee Age: 23 Handedness: Right Jersey Number: 22 Height (ft.): 6'0" Weight (lbs.): 200 lbs Birthplace: Saulsbury, Tennessee Player Archetype: Speed Back Savage is me! I’m new to the league but I’ve been trying to read and ask as many questions as possible. I don’t think my draft stock is pretty high since I was honest with lots of DSFL teams about my activity since I’m still learning the ropes so to speak. My player is another speed back and I’m hoping to get his speed up really high first. As far as activity, I’m trying my best to create graphics since I don’t enjoy writing much and I’m not great at it based on my own critique. I guess that I’ll be the 4th or 5th pick depending on Rocco. I’m still waiting to get some more money but I hope to buy equipment soon and my graphics activity should be a big bonus I think. Tahj Glover College: Wyoming Age: 21 Handedness: Right Jersey Number: 30 Height (ft.): 6'0" Weight (lbs.): 205lbs. Birthplace: Kirkland, Washington, USA Player Archetype: Speed Back My Vienna Vultures teammate is another speed back and watching the two of us in that backfield was really fun. I think his speed back build is a bit different than most and he’s got some more endurance to really run the ball long term. Unfortunately, he’s only got 1 post and 1 thread so it looks like he’s inactive and won’t be back. This is a shame since I was hoping to see the two of us together in the DSFL based on how we played in the prospect bowl games. Waiver Wire RB Hehe Jamison College: Georgia Age: 21 Handedness: Right Jersey Number: 5 Height (ft.): 6’0 Weight (lbs.): 220 Birthplace: Savannah, GA Player Archetype: Speed Back This player won’t get picked on the draft based on what I saw, but he’ll be picked up off waivers really quick I bet. He’s another speed back who’s looks active on discord and has some good speed along with hands and some pass blocking. That’s probably going to draw the attention of some DSFL teams who may have struck out on the guys I listed above. I’m optimistic for this guy. Well if you made it this far, I would like to thank you. I can get kind of rambling when I write and it can sound weird sometimes. But yeah, I hope you enjoyed this because I know that I did while looking up the other running back prospects in the league. It gives me something else to think about and how I compare to some of these guys in the long run. I definitely think the top picks for running back will be: 1) Xander Creed 2) Buck Nekkid 3) Drip Dad 4) Massimo Rocco 5) Ace Savage 6) Tahj Glover This was based on my review and gut feeling of activity and builds. People in the rookie discord says it doesn’t matter as much so activity is probably the highest priority for the DSFL GMs. It’s definitely going to be Xander Creed and/or Buck Nekkid in the top spot for DSFL running backs for sure.
