*Fridge Thoughts - platanocat - 12-14-2020
Here is a collection of memories, thoughts, and statements by Marlon Alexander in no particular order.
- Being a fridge that plays football, offensive line was an easy choice for me. I thought about switching to running back but I don’t have any legs so coach said ‘no’.
- They call me “Chilly” because I got ice in my veins.
- When I entered the league I was welcomed by a lot of very nice people. I have no actual reason to hate Frost, I just wanted to fit in. So far that gamble has paid off.
- As far as I know, I am the first fridge to ever play in the ISFL.
- If I ever go into free agency, I should just tell people my agent is Rent-A-Center.
- One day, I’d like to find a family of my own, buy a nice house, and just spend all my time keeping their food and drinks nice and cold.
- Corgis are my favorite breed of dog even though I’ve never had one. One day I’ll be like the Her Majesty of England and have a whole herd of them.
- LB and Deadly should not have been fined.
- Burritos are the best damn food on the whole damn planet.
- Why are NOLA games so damn hard to predict?
- What the hell is going on over there in that Minnesota locker room?
- How long will Zamir actually stay gone?
- Why does Jiggly only post in London’s music channel?
- I once lost my cell phone on a Portland city bus but it was such a piece of shit that when someone found it they turned it in to the bus company.
- Even though I’m a fridge I hate the cold. I like keeping other things cold. It’s hard to feel necessary if it’s *already* cold.
- I can’t swim. Again, this is because I don’t have legs.
- Cyberpunk 2077 should have been delayed another year.
- Do people even vote for any of the ISFL HO positions? If not then we should try it sometime. I want to see someone who has no idea what they’re doing get elected.
- If you put fish in the microwave you are an apostate if Satan.
- Joe Buck is annoying af. I’m glad he’s been retired for like 40 years.
- Does anyone even actually make any money in the stock market? It seems like whatever profits you make are undercut by taxes or underselling at auction.
- How are new GMs going to learn sim strategies when the new sim comes out if they can’t sim test? Seems like eventually you’ll have a whole class of GMs who have never sim tested at all.
- Bots shouldn’t be able to hold records in the index. I have no idea if that’s even an option though without manually tracking stats.
- New York’s main mascot is a gorilla. It’s locker room also has a secondary mascot: a mantis shrimp.
- Closed locker rooms are not as fun. If people are annoying just kick them.
- That milk trend was not funny and never once was funny.
- Seriously, why does Minnesota have a bondage duck emoji?
- Hordle should have been called up at the start of the season.
- I have no idea how I’m first in my fantasy group.
