*The ISFL with another questionable decision - BigUnitBabs - 12-15-2020 Quote: "Offseason Point Task - 25th Anniversary Special The league has recently finished its 25th season. Please take the time to celebrate this anniversary by writing about what the league means to you. Whether you've been here for a day or for the last three years, we'd love to hear about your favorite parts and any special memories you'd like to share. If you're new, or more interested in the future, let us know where you think the league will be like 25 seasons from now! You will receive 1 TPE for participation, and 1 TPE per 100 words up to 400 words. This means for 400 words, you will receive 5 TPE. There is no graphics option. Do not claim this TPE until it has been graded. This task is not covered by PT passes. This task will close 15 minutes prior to S26 Regular season week 1 sim." so, this should mean that a simple post in the thread that does not reach 100 words would get you the participation TPE right? apparently no, as for some reason the higher ups in ISFL hate their semi-active players, participating in threads like this is not enough for them, and they chose to deny anyone who did this method Quote: "NOTE: if all you did was write some variation of "give 1 participation TP" as your whole post then you did not receive any TPE." I would really like to know what constitutes "participation" over here then, because apparently posting in threads is not enough. it is unbelievable that a league would just suddenly decide that something isn't good enough for them after clearly stating that there would be a participation TPE for being in the thread. Terrible to see something like this an i hope the league rectifies it, rather than seeing another thoughtless decision from the higher ups. Removing 1 TPE from lower activity players is just a slap in the face to those who like spending time here, yet do not have the time to commit to being a max activity earner. RE: The ISFL with another questionable decision - r0tzbua - 12-15-2020 That's outrageous! RE: The ISFL with another questionable decision - platanocat - 12-15-2020 >> not a max earner >> mad about 1 TPE Pick one. RE: The ISFL with another questionable decision - Asked Madden - 12-15-2020 I would personally think participation would mean participating in the prompt but that's just me. Big if true. RE: The ISFL with another questionable decision - zaynzk - 12-15-2020 Bro it’s 1 TPE no need to get upset, next time spend the 30 seconds u need to put some effort RE: The ISFL with another questionable decision - Gumbaman - 12-15-2020 Why would you get the participation TPE if you put no effort into it? That's like showing up to a race and just standing there and expecting an award for doing nothing. If all you out was “give me my one tpe” or something along those lines, you were neither involved nor took part in the actual subject. It isn’t an activity check, it’s a point task.
