*S26: Gains since the draft - OrbitingDeath - 12-27-2020 S26: Gains since the draft As always I am interested to see how I compare to my fellow draftees. So instead of focussing on positional charts as the last time, I have decided to create and overview that shows the gains since the draft. The numbers you see after a name are (tpe at draft - tpe now - total gain since draft). Only players that currently have more as 75 tpe have been taken in consideration. Lonely at the top (200+ tpe earned): A.J Lucas 187 404 217 It looks like A.J. Lucas had some unclaimed stuff at time at the draft, as he is miles ahead compared to the rest of his class. With a total of 217 tpe earned since the draft he has shown that he has been an absolute riser in terms of draft day value. The Baltimore Hawks have selected him at 16th overall and now he is currently 9th in his draft class. Absolute value considering defensive players tend to get select earlier. High consistency (150-200 tpe earned) This category contains most of the players that are trying to earn as much as possible. Sometimes people might miss out on a prediction or activity check or so, but these category has not missed much yet. Ernest Lover 261 435 174 The defensive player is another great acquisition by the Baltimore Hawks, who now have the number one and two player in terms of tpe earned since the draft. Ernest Lover closes the gap with Cobra Kai to just three more tpe, so it’s just a couple of good guesses away of being the true number one in this draft class. Cobra Kai 266 438 172 My own player and I know that I missed at least one week of predictions, I was sure I did them but its more than likely that I forgot to actually hit the post / submit button on the forums. 172 is still not a bad score and enough to remain on top of my draft class. But as said before, the difference is really minimal, so I wouldn’t be too surprised to be surpassed eventually. Dogwood Maple 249 421 172 The person who scored exactly as much points as me since the draft is Dogwood Maple, showing that the New York Silverbacks certainly weren’t reaching when they selected him at two. Since the draft his consistent earning has now placed him 4th of his class in tpe. Tugg Speedman 255 424 169 Another great selection at the end of the first round for the San Jose Sabercats. Their 14th overall selection has gained 169 tpe and is the highest earning wide receiver since the draft. Considering the highest wide receiver went at 4th overall, shows Speedman that he might have been the one to deserve to be drafted there. Certainly a steal for the current champions. Demon Jaxson 198 364 166 The next player might have been lower tpe when he was being drafted, but that was mainly due to being a late create. At 10th overall Jaxson was selected and since the draft he has been the sixth best earning player, bumping him up to 19th in his draft class in terms of earned tpe. While it may have seen like a reach at the time, it surely shows that the Sailfish saw his potential and made the right call. Richard Littlewood 254 416 162 The offensive lineman might have seen a little bit too offensive for teams around the league, but he has been nothing but great in the Honolulu locker room. In terms of tpe since the draft he also is in the top 7 of tpe earned and 6th in tpe of his draft class in overall. Considering the Hahalua picked him up at pick 35 if i recall correctly. Still one of my favourite picks in this entire draft. Ryan Negs 236 398 162 People were a bit surprised seeing Negs go this early, mostly as not many other teams would have the need for a quarterback, but in terms of earning this pick is certainly justified. Negs has earned in the top 7 of tpe earned for his entire draft class and will be the next quarterback for the Liberty if he keeps this pace up. With his total amount of tpe he currently places 12th in the S26 class. Bambam McMullet 258 417 159 The first overall selection comes in at 9th in terms of earned tpe since the draft. So while certainly not a bad earner, it’s less than we would expect from a selection that high. McMullet however still is the highest earning linebacker in the draft, so if he was chosen on a need for position, he still went were he should have went, despite being outpaced by others. Derek Wildstar 250 409 159 The Berlin Fire Salamanders safety completes the top 10 in terms of points earned since the draft. With being selected at 11th overall, it couldn’t be a much more even selection then this. His 409 tpe places him seventh in his class, so the team couldn’t be happier that Wildstar felt this far. He really has been a solid earner and keeps up the expectations people had for him. Tom Teboat 225 381 156 What is this? A baseball player? Someone certainly missed the boat on this selection if they expected a player that knew he was playing football. However this tight end has earned on a pace that would definitly knock the ball out of the park. With 156 tpe earned he is just outside the top 10 of earners since the draft, but considering he went 18th overall that is indeed a homerun selection for the Outlaws. With his steady pace he has now climbed up to the 16th position in his draft class. Vincent Jones 251 406 155 The third linebacker covered so far and Vinnie Jones certainly tries his best to keep up with the first overall selection. With just 4 tpe less earned than McMullet since the draft he still is the eight highest earning player of his draft class. Drafted fifth overall he might not earned as much as the second line might have hoped, but they also certainly will not be disappointed by his progress. Jaja Ding Dong 243 394 151 The last player that earned over a 150 tpe since the draft is Jaja Ding Dong, Here you can’t really speak of a steal due to this being a gm player, but he certainly has proven he is worth more than the selection that he was drafted at. Following closely (125-149 tpe earned since draft) The following category are players that definitely missed some claims but still are doing great in their progress. Perhaps they have a lot of unclaimed stuff though that will launch them again in the rankings, but you never know unless they actually post the upgrades. Makoto Otawara 222 369 147 Mr. Forty-Two 253 399 146 Leonard Taylor 260 404 144 Alexander Franklin 215 359 144 Raphael Delacour 252 395 143 Mario Messi 248 387 139 Arthur Naught 234 373 139 Jonathan Shuffleboard 133 266 133 Big Slammu 232 364 132 Evan Jones 153 281 128 Logan Sarrasin 191 318 127 To avoid going into each player separately (the top earners actually deserved it, if you want to be name dropped a next time, earn more guys) i’ll just keep it short for this and the next categories. Players that you would not expect to see here would be Arthur Naught and Leonard Taylor who were both first round selections. From a first round selection you would expect the people to be able to keep up the pace with the higher groups. Now is Taylor still earning at a good place that keeps him in the top 10 of his draft class, but you just expect some higher numbers here. On the other hand a player like Jonathan Shuffleboard is a player that can be proud to be on this list, from the players on the list he was the lowest tpe to start with and has doubled his tpe since the draft, something no player mentioned yet has been able to achieve (most likely since it is almost impossible unless you were low tpe), but for a 33rd overall selection the New Orleans Second Line can be happy about the promise he is showing. The medium earners (75-124 tpe earned since draft) Caven McRae 186 305 119 Slurms McKenzie 177 290 113 Redbeard McFredbeard 165 276 111 Maiteers Rico-Shea 147 247 100 Chet Larson 162 257 95 Akil Ozymandias 206 300 94 Moe Skeeter 261 351 90 Laxus Dreyar 132 221 89 Big Chungus 115 193 78 The big dissapointment on this list must be Moe Skeeter, he had surged up the draft rankings prior to the draft, but since the draft only managed to earn 90 tpe more. Being selected 9th overall he has shown that he might be the biggest bust so far in the first round of the draft. Seeing the consistancy that Wildstar has shown, he even was a bad selection positionwise. The low earners (40-74 tpe earned since draft) Schumi Hulkenvettel 192 264 72 Gluteus Maximus 200 271 71 Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms 107 175 68 Primo Berto 129 196 67 Julian Jurevicius 88 150 62 Ty Tyson 115 173 58 Captain John Price 96 142 46 Quavious McGrady 209 254 45 Rocky Jackman 129 172 43 The this needs to be better guys (0-39 tpe earned since draft) Pope Francis 118 146 28 Lebron James III 257 284 27 Jalen Washington 132 154 22 Bismo Funyuns 113 127 14 Emi Rune 131 143 12 Lalo Salamanca 213 213 0 Byakuya Togami 137 137 0 Something McDerpants 120 120 0 Erik Kirkland 114 114 0 Owmy Back 103 103 0 Dick Grayson 91 91 0 RE: S26: Gains since the draft - mee - 12-28-2020 Yoo I see my name on a good list! RE: S26: Gains since the draft - Tayjay - 12-29-2020 Cool stuff. I've definitely been slower on claiming things since being capped but cool to see how everyone stacks up. |
