S27 Prospect Showcases!!! - TomHanks - 12-28-2020 Happy Holidays DSFL!! Big new changes in the league are coming in the form of a new sim, and for that reason, all new creates are going to be using the brand new archetypes that our sim transition team has been hard at work creating. Information about these new archetypes can be found here. The unfortunate downside of that means that the new creates cannot be put on current DSFL teams as their builds are meant for a different sim. So we will be having not 1 but 2 (two!) big events for the creates. Our trade deadline creates will be the first to see themselves in the new sim in our DDSPF21 Showcase on the 2nd of January at 3pm EST (or 8pm GMT). This will be a teaser for what is to come in the form of one big game, winner takes all. Team announcements will be made closer to that date. We will then be having a proper Prospect Bowl running from January 12th until January 19th. We're super excited for this one since it will be the first FULL SEASON run on the new sim. A huge thanks to @JPach for volunteering to run this event, it's going to be a lot of work, but I can't wait to see what the new sim holds, and am thrilled that the first players who will be participating will be new creates for a reddit draft! Reddit recruitment has been massive for the growth of the league, and these new recruits will be the future of the league. It feels fitting that in our league's new era, a new era of players gets to experience it first.
