*Armando Galarraga Upcoming Draft Prep and Destination Evaluation - BigUnitBabs - 01-02-2021 Armando Galarraga has just spent this past season, his first, in the Developmental Simulation Football League, and is preparing for the ever important and shortly upcoming draft for the International Simulation Football League. This season was a strong one for showing off Armando’s punting in the league, so far in the season Armando is second in total yards, fourth in average yards per punt, and leads the league in punts downed inside the 20 yard line, all of which are fairly impressive for a rookie! Kicking for Armando has been solid as well, not quite as good as the punting as his accuracy hasn’t been all Armando was hoping for, only hitting for seventy five percent from the ground, but is tied for having made the longest field goal in the league this season, proving his leg strength, and has yet to miss an extra point, so at the very least teams will know his consistency is there, and can be tapped into with a little more work. This season hasn’t been the best earning season for Armando but he is ok with that, he never planned to push for being the best ever, or even the best in the league, just to hold down a starting job, and be valuable to his team in the long run. All of the teams in the upcoming draft should be well aware of Armando and his goals by now, so I am going to take it upon myself to break down each team, and familiarize myself with the design of each team, and not any other possible comments or thoughts that I have, as I don’t know too many of the teams, or what they are each about. Arizona Outlaws General Managers – Crunk, Z-Whiz I don’t know either of these two general managers, however I do like this team’s colour scheme, and from what I can see of the logo its cool, but the team info page seems outdated and in need of repair, which I hope is not an indicator of what is to come for the rest of this article. All in all I don’t feel one way or the other about this team – I think moosecop once was with them or something maybe, really don’t know too much! Austin Copperheads General Managers – Amidships, Kyle I have seen kyle around on the forums, and was in the same class as my last player, Bobby Boucher, but not being the most active person here, really don’t know too much else about this team. Again, cool colour scheme and I like the logo, the copperhead/texas theme is cool. That’s about it for these guys, however I have heard from scouts already from them so that is a good sign. Baltimore Haws General Managers – Buttersquatch101, Jackets28 No idea who either of these guys are, or what the deal is with their team, seems like a pretty average team that has gotten themselves the odd ultimus win, colours are cool, but I think more could be done for logo and overall design. Pretty neutral on this team too, not really much to say. Berlin Fire Salamanders General Managers - Dewalt27, Highhaschdi So uhh, fire salamanders are like fine, but I don’t think they really make sense for a sports team. Nothing against the design and execution, but it just has me saying why. Cool colours, logo is pretty well done considering the team name, but the name just doesn’t vibe for me. Again don’t really know the GMs, would rather not end up here with being a new team and not really getting any hype from the name or aesthetics. Chicago Butchers General Managers – Bayley, Muford Some GMs I actually know! I have seen plenty of Bayley and Muford from over in the PBE, although I am not sure how they feel about me, being members of OBX. I don’t really have a knock against either of them, and probably a positive to have GMs with as much experience as these two do in sim leagues. I like the colours here, although the butchers name is interesting, but I think I like it because it screams football to me. Current logo is fine, but I think this team name has some serious potential for a better logo. End of the day feeling neutral once again about this team, although not sure if they’d want me lol. Colorado Yeti General Managers - Sylphreni, thevoicelesscreator This is a cool idea, I like the use of yeti here for Colorado and has a nice theme, colours and logo could use an upgrade, though the homage to the Rockies (hockey not baseball) is kind of cool. Would rather not end up here for a few reasons I won’t get into. Honolulu Hahalua General Managers - gucci, siddhus Cool to see a team from Hawaiil, love the colours and the logo is cool, all in all a solid theme. Once again however would rather not end up here for reasons I won’t get into. New Orleans Second Line General Managers - ddrector, Mithrandir I have always loved the purple and gold colour schemes in sports, the old LA Kings setup was always one of my favourites, and although I have no idea what the second line part is about, I am almost certain it has roots in New Orleans culture which is good for theme. Would be cool to end up here, I like a lot of the people associated with this team, like sloth ![]() New York Silverbacks General Managers - Bwestfield, woelkers Interesting logo and colour scheme, I think it works well, the part I don’t get is why a team with this name is located in New York, doesn’t really make sense to me. Get along with the GMs just fine, and being a New York GM myself, don’t mind playing for a New York team, would not be a bad place to end up and they’ve already reached out for scouting! Orange County Otters General Managers - jeffie43, Laser My old team, I love laser and jeff and both know their stuff. Not much to say here, love the logo, love the people in OCO, would love to go back ![]() Philadelphia Liberty General Managers - Punter715, ShnarlyDude This team has been around for as long as I have been around ISFL and to be honest, really haven’t heard or seen much from them which I am not sure is a good or bad thing. The philly theme is cool with the liberty bell and the whole setup is nicely done. Fairly neutral feeling, would love to learn more about them, could be a solid place to end up. San Jose SaberCats General Managers - ckroyal92, Rradum I have known ck for a while from PBE and that also means I know he puts in a ton of effort here. This team has been very good for a little while now, and I know he is a big part of that. I like the colour scheme and the simple logo is quite nice, would not be upset about playing here! Sarasota Sailfish General Managers - Frostbite, sakrosankt Cool logo, although not sure why people in sim leagues put teams in Sarasota in general lol. Would not mind ending up here, I like the setup, also frost sux lmap Yellowknife Wraiths General Managers - flyeaglesfly29, PMoney Lot of cool people here and I really dig the logo and scheme, plus some Canadian content! Not sure Yellowknife is the best city for a pro football team but that is really the only knock I have with this team so for sure would like to play here. Eagles has been around the PBE forever and despite playing for DVS seems pretty chill, already reached out for scouting so that is a plus! That’s all from me, just hoping to enjoy my time here, and hoping this article covers my training for the next several seasons lol RE: Armando Galarraga Upcoming Draft Prep and Destination Evaluation - Frostbite - 01-02-2021 Hey they copied us, we were first RE: Armando Galarraga Upcoming Draft Prep and Destination Evaluation - zaynzk - 01-02-2021 I always thought the NY branding was kinda a Homage to King Kong!!! But I really liked this article and it’s cool seeing people from other leagues around!!
