Some Big Time Announcements! - Admin - 08-03-2017

We in the head office have some big announcements for you all today. One about Colorado management, one about our head office itself, and one that will change the future of the NSFL and enhance the experience here for new members just beginning their careers.

First up I would like to thank everyone who applied for the Colorado Yeti GM position. We had some great applications and in the end we reached a consensus on who we wanted to be the new GM. I am please to introduce the new Colorado Yeti head GM, @deadendpath27! Congratulations!

We also have a new Co-GM to announce for the Colorado Yeti! Please welcome to the team, @PigSnout, Congratulations!

What about the current Co-GM, @Noble, you ask? I am very excited to announce that our league designated workhorse is getting a promotion to the head office. @Noble will join our head office team effective immediately.

Now we get to our last announcement, which goes hand in hand with @Noble's promotion. Starting in S3 we are going to be introducing a NSFL Minor League, called the DSFL, or Developmental Simulation Football League. Full details, including rules and setup will be announced later this season so please hold your questions regarding those types of things until we announce them. @Noble has been an invaluable part of getting the DSFL set up and he did most of the work on the rulebook (which is almost finished) and was a huge contributor for any decision we had about the league. His focus in his new head office role will be the DSFL, but he will still be part of the head office team as a whole and help with any NSFL decision we have. Just as the rest of the head office will be part of any DSFL decision we come up with.

The entire head office has been working hard on the DSFL idea so I need to make sure I think @youngcricket, @`Dermot`, and @AsylumParty for all their work.

Starting today we will be taking applications for both GM roles for minor league teams as well as a Simmer for the minor league. Please fill out the application below and PM it to any head office member if you would like to apply.

GM Applications:
Past GM experience (anything that helps here even if it's not sim leagues):

Why do you want this job?

As minor league GM, one of your biggest responsibilities is new player engagement and education. How would you keep new people invested in the site and help them learn their way around?

Simmer Applications:
Why do you want to become the DSFL simmer?

Experience with DDSPF16/Any sports sims in general?

How much time are you willing to dedicate to the position?
