RB/FB Position Skill Formula Change - slate - 01-26-2021
Hi all! In light of the severe underperformance we saw in preseason from lower TPE running backs, we are changing the way Position Skill is calculated for all RB/FBs.
Currently:
For almost all positions, Position Skill = 30 + (TPE/25) + 4 * SeasonsPlayed.
For QBs, Position Skill = 65 + (TPE/50) + 2 * SeasonsPlayed
RBs/FBs will now use the same formula as QBs. This change will apply to both the ISFL and DSFL, although it will not be reflected in the DSFL preseason games streamed tonight.
While this won't necessarily make low TPE RBs perform equally well as high TPE RBs, we believe this change will help decrease the differential between them. It's also clear that Speed is very important for rushing success, so don't leave it behind!

Imagine if only 1 team had this information and then only that team drafted a lower RB in late rounds to their advantage! That would be quite controversial, don't you think?
