Football can be a hostile environment full of big egos and rival players trying to bring each other down. That is why I would like to take a moment to highlight some skills of a player I really look up to in the league. Jack @Durden. The much maligned scat back on the SaberCats has seen his share of controversy in his young career and I thought he could use a pick me up.
Running
Jack Durden is exceptionally good at running his fucking mouth without regard for those around him. Often you can find him butting heads with those around him and that includes his teammates. It is quite possible that Durden had more enemies in the Arizona locker room than he did on the gridiron as he bandied his dick around instead of training and focusing on game day. Let's not forget about Jack's ability to run from his problems. Instead of working hard and earning the top job in Arizona he bolted first chance he could for the easy route in San Jose.
Endurance
Yeah Durden can run his mouth but who can't? It's the fact that he doesn't stop, he is relentless. When he sets his sights on something he doesn't let up and eventually he will break you. If he doesn't like you he won't just let you know, he will make damn sure you see it every time you bend to tie your shoes in the morning.
Agility
The man has some seriously fast agility. His ability to stop and turn on a dime is remarkable. One minute he is bitching about his lack of reps and the next he is attacking a teammate for questioning his motives. Jack is a guy who can break ankles dancing around the truth because let's face it Durden, we all know Mackworthy is twice the back you are and deserved the reps.
Blocking
No not pass blocking, that is beneath this man, I am talking about the ability to block out advisors and naysayers alike. Friends of Durden have told him to keep his nose clean and build his reputation up so he can earn a job somewhere but he didn't care. Teammates have tried to console him and tell him he has talent but he has to stop rubbing people the wrong way. Ignored! On the flip side Durden has had people tell him to shut his bitch mouth but here he is still running his mouth. The man can block out anything.
Summary
Jack Durden has some serious skills but as long he is a turd can we really take him seriously? I mean he was quoted as saying "Durden isn’t here to play second fiddle." and yet he is only THIRD in rushing yards and SECOND in average yards a carry and rushing touchdowns. He is THIRD in receiving yards by backs and TIED for first in receiving touchdowns. Sounds like a guy who is fighting just to be second fiddle Jack, pick up your socks!

I have played two season games against Boss Tweed. He has 0 receiving yards, 97 rushing yards/game. I've played one game against Savea. 92 rushing yards, and again, 0 receiving yards. One game against Durden: 100 rushing yards, 30 fucking receiving yards. Thus far, he has been the best receiving back and best total yardage back. We still have 10 games left, but for now, his is the mark to beat.
