So some of you may remember that last September I put out an article saying that my good boy Wolfie McPickSix McDummy was the Pick Six king (check it here), but it turns out, that's wrong!

I'm rich enough that writing another whole article isn't really worth my time, but here's the TL;DR - I didn't account for "bye-week" playoff games. These have occurred since S16 when the playoffs were expanded to 6 teams. Since DDSPF didn't allow us to natively do a 6 team playoffs, the 1st seed actually played the 4th seed in an auto-win game that didn't count. In those games, Wolfie actually had THREE pick-sixes, including 2 in one game against Yellowknife! There's a few other instances of this, but I'll let the tables take care of that.

Pick Six Leaders

Borkus takes the crown at 19, and Mike Boss jumps over Wolfie to take 2nd. Easton Cole and Wolfie are now tied at 16. These check out - all 4 are in the top 5 in attempts, with Borkus at #1 and Boss at #2. Cole is #3 and Wolfie is #5 - the one missing is Cooter Bigsby who has 14 pick sixes. Impressively, there are no active players on this list!

Regular Season Statistics

A new thing that I have accounted for as well is the fact that most statistical records only count regular-season performances. So how does it shake out there now?

Maximus and Boss keep their 1/2 spot - with Maximus having not thrown a single pick-six in the playoffs. Cole climbs up to take #3 all alone, and Wolfie actually falls down to #4 with Chris Orosz. Chika Fujiwara makes an appearance as the only active on this top-10 list.

Users

With @JBLAZE_THE_BOSS now being the second user to have a starting quarterback in the league, I thought it was worth it to start tracking pick-sixes by user. Here is the leaderboard:

Tracking regular season antics only, I can still claim the Pick Six crown at 28 between two players. The Boss family isn't far behind though, as in Jr.'s third season he only needs 8 to tie. Mike Boss Jr. already has 3 to his name, and with at least 7 good seasons left in his career, I don't think it's farfetched to say that this crown will move.

Boss only needs 7 to tie here! Again, it's totally possible. Oh god please take this crown from me. It's heavy and makes me sad.


HERE is the magic spreadsheet Smile You can also look at stats such as Pick-Sixes per Attempt, per Game, and per Interception for both regular season games only and all games. Also, user interceptions!

Are Blaze and infi really the only two users to have two QBs start in the ISFL? That's pretty cool.
