Hello, today I felt like I needed some more money in my bank account so I decided to start a NSFL Monthly Award Predictions series!
Anyways, this series will happen every 4 games, which is why this is happening after the 4th week.
I will be predicting the following awards:

Most Outstanding Player (PA)
Defensive POTY
Offensive POTY
GM's of the Year
Glacies Trophy Champion (NSFC)
Solis Trophy Champion (ASFC)
Ultimus Champion

Most Outstanding Player: Ben Longshaw SJS

The way this man has been playing is absolutely ridiculous. No one would expect any offensive line to record 27 pancakes and allow 0 sacks in just 4 games, let alone Ben Longshaw, who has been outperforming players like Angus Winchester and Mat Akelsen! (I really hope I spelled that correctly). But Longshaw is performing that insanely! These numbers are ridiculous! If he continued this rate of performance, by the end of the season he would have 95 pancakes and 0 sacks, which would be superhuman numbers. That would easily break the record of pancakes, set by Angus Winchester during his MVP season last year. Of course, there are bigger things to worry about around Longshaw, such as his absence for nearly a week, especially as a GM. But for now, he's paving the Sabercats' route to success, as the Sabercats are 3-1 and are the second seed in the ASFC.

Defensive Player of the Year: Harrif Ernston ARI

Ernston has been playing amazing for the Outlaws. He already has amassed whopping totals of 43 tackles, 7 sacks and 2 interceptions. He's been a beast up front for an Outlaws team who wants to become the first two NSFL champions, and a team that may have an easier way if the Otters do not perform as well as expected. Right now, Ernston is on pace for a well over 100 tackle season, a 20 sack season, and a 7 interception season. But these numbers are likely going to cool down for Ernston, as the Outlaws face a tough schedule ahead. Last year Ernston was great as well, but he wasn't the best. This year, he looks to get all the way up there, but he is having some tough competition in Erasmo Broadway. He faces some competition in the secondary as well, with Philadelphia Liberty safety Lincoln Jefferson and Yellowknife Wraiths rookie cornerback Dermot Lavelle, who each have 3 interceptions, and Jefferson has already amassed 31 tackles.

Offensive Player of the Year: Ben Longshaw SJS

Well, this is kind of obvious, isn't it?

GMs of the Year: @Bzerkap (NSFC), @ckroyal92 (ASFC)

Bzerkap and ckroyal92 have made immense moves in the offseason to improve their teams as much as possible, and their work has shown up so far in the regular season. The Wraiths are much improved on the defensive side on the ball, and the Sabercats are running up the score offensively. With each of these problems fixed, both teams are ready to compete for a playoff spot, and who knows, even a top seed! (YKW *cough cough*). The Sabercats have shown more improvement, though, as last season they finished 4-10, partly because of quarterback woes. Right now the Sabercats have a solid quarterback though, and are doing well.

Playoff bracket:

Colorado Yeti @ Yellowknife Wraiths

This matchup seems pretty straight forward. No other team comes close to competing in the NSFC, and it looks like the Wraiths have a slight advantage. For the most part, they've been playing great on both sides of the ball, and have played with a superhuman hunger. The Yeti are a great team, don't get me wrong, but if the game is played in Yellowknife it is almost certain that the Wraiths will go to the Ultimus.

Orange County Otters @ Arizona Outlaws

I believe the Orange County Otters will bounce back from their first games struggles. Honestly, who doesn't? Remember, this team came in third place last year, and was the general consensus to be the regular season champions. There's no reason why they shouldn't come back from their lousy start. I also don't believe the Sabercats have the juice in them to make a playoff push just yet. I seriously doubt the Sabercats offensive line to continue being this great, and they won't hang on.

Arizona Outlaws v. Yellowknife Wraiths

This game should be a thriller, but I believe in the end, when the dust settles, the Wraiths will be on top. The Wraiths have prepared for teams like the Outlaws on defense, adding various linebackers and pass rushers, as well as some help in the secondary. They also have the confidence and the talent to win it all on the big stage. The Wraiths have been playing at an elite level, and so have the Outlaws, but I think the Wraiths will pull it out.

DUDE, how did I not find this sooner! THANK YOU for the PREDICTION! Big Grin

ARI

You are my new favorite Speed LB!

By the way! I checked you out (Player Page and Update Page) because I'm a curious person (And a Rookie Mentor Tongue) and I feel you aren't playing at your full potential. It seems like you got time before regression, but those 8 seasons will come and go. I don't want you to only have 2 seasons of peak play when you (ESPECIALLY WITH THAT ARCHTYPE) could have 6 seasons of Best LB in the league play.

You see, the test result are in and the best stat in the league is SPEED. SPEED SPEED AND SPEED. YOU ARE A SPEED RUSHER (Von Miller, Carl Lawson; I'm pretty sure you want to be like Von... I think). YOU NEED TO BE PUTTING POINTS IN SPEED.

I can't stress this enough. I adore you for trying to round out your player but you'll be more agile, tackle more, and be more able to react if you START DUMPING EVERY SINGLE POINT YOU GET FROM NOW UNTIL YOU GET IT TO LIKE 85 (Cause you can just put equipment cleats into it by then) INTO SPEED.

I'm going to be honest, the first thing I thought when I saw your update page was "Wtf, a Speed Rusher who isn't building speed.... everyone need to build speed first or they aren't going to be that good.... or at least they need to focus on one attribute or they aren't going to improve."

SO I SAY TO YOU, NO, I FORBID YOU from putting points into ANYTHING BUT SPEED until you hit 85 SPEED.

my plan was to get endurance up to 70 and then grind on speed but ok. change of plans.
