Bold Prediction: The Las Vegas Legion will set league records in losses and worst point differential in Season Two. That is a pretty grim prediction, but it will be worse next season, when they break those records by posting the first-ever 0-14 season. More on that next year.

The Legion, like the Liberty, had a seemingly impossible task of creating a new team that could compete with the existing ones from Season One. The Liberty realized the futility of this task and built from the ground up, putting ALMOST all their focus into long term success. The Legion, on the other hand, decided to go after semi-established, unmotivated vets, even when players of the same caliber were available in the draft. The decision seemed worthwhile at first, giving them a 300+ point advantage over the Liberty in starting TPE, but it only took 8 weeks for the Liberty to completely cover that gap. Now, the Legion are both the worst team in starter’s TPE as well as the team with the slowest rate of improvement. Next year’s draft holds little promise, either, as their picks were traded for good talent.

There is some reason for hope, though, as the Legion will have the most dangerous WR in the league next year with Stormblessed. If they can fix their O-line in free agency, this team could start to improve.

My bold prediction for the year, the Baltimore Hawks will make the playoffs in S2. Why is that bold? The Hawks won only 4 games last year and were predicted to win 5 at the start of this year. They were widely regarded as the worst of the non-expansion teams, and many even had the Las Vegas Legion finishing above them this year as well.

Reasons to believe!:
-The Hawks started this season at 2-2, both losses were away games, with one loss by 7 points, and the other by only 1 point.
-The Hawks have both the league leading rusher and league leading passer.
- Their offensive line is third for most pancake blocks and tied for second with least sacks allowed.
- Their defense is second in the NSFL in sacks, leads the league in both fumbles caused and fumbles recovered, and is the only team to block a field goal this year.
- Rookies, rookies everywhere! Their starting running back, #2/#3 receivers, and starting tight end are all active rookies and will continue to improve. Their entire offensive line is made of rookies, 3 of whom are improving rapidly. They're also starting rookies on defense at defensive end, defensive tackle, linebacker, cornerback, and free safety. Their continued growth will help the Hawks make a late season push.
- Their veterans have stepped up in a big way. Quarterback Kyubee leads the league in passing years. Wide receiver Christmas is third in receiving yards and tied for first in receiving touchdowns. Defensive end Hendrix is tied for third with the most sacks in the NSFL, while linebacker Broadway is fourth in sacks and second in tackles.
- Their kicker has made two 50+ yard field goals, including the current league record of one from 57 yards.

If this doesn't make you believe, nothing will!

Tyler Oles is going to lead the league in interceptions at the end of the year. Yes, the man without an interception, passes defensed, will lead the league in interceptions. He will start making plays, I can’t tell you whether it’s because the QBs won’t throw at him, or if he just isn’t contesting catches, but it will start going right for him and the Liberty. QBs will start throwing against him, and it’s only a matter of time that the CB makes them pay and starts really terrorizing QBs. He will get better, and he will be part of a shutdown secondary that is in Philadelphia. As the whole defense gets better the opposing QBs will start to have no choice but to make worse throws, and Oles is going to capitalize on that and be a big part of a fantastic secondary that will make every opposing offense quake in their boots. Oles is a good CB, just a bit down on his luck at the moment and has had a bit of a hard time adjusting to the NSFL. Pair that with being thrust into the number 1 CB role and it’s been tough for him to make plays when QBs aren’t throwing his way.

Bold prediction: Kickers will slowly take over the league. Sure, they're good locker room guys and are pretty reliable right now, but just wait. Kickers are the new MVPs of the league. It started with solid chip shots and Xtra Points, but they're becoming more enhanced and evolved. They're hitting 57 yard game winners now. The face of the league will be Kicksit or Ronaldo. Mark my words. We've taken them for granted for a long while, and now it's gonna come back to bite us. And you think that you can just lay back and think the skill players will keep their spot at the top, well they wont't. OPEN YOUR EYES SHEEPLE. THEY'RE PULLING IT OFF RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSES. It's just a matter of time before they're hitting 100 yarders and don't need anyone else in the league. Start hitting them harder, injure their legs before we're out of a job- OPEN YOUR EYES. It's all part of the Illuminati's conspiracy to take over football. Mark my words. Ronaldo knows what I'm talking about. Kicksit KNOWS what I'm talking about hitting that ridiculous game winner. Big Bot, start crushing kickers, not quarterbacks, we need to address the revolution.

Bold Prediction: The Sabercats will be conference champions!

Nobody ever really saw this coming, after the Cats were one of the least explosive teams in S1, but have made some giant strides since then. An OL held down by tackles Sharpei and Longshaw looks to help push RB Durden, WR Cook, and QB Hunt into the Pro-Bowl in season 2! They have showed how dominant of an offense they have, leading the league in both passer rating and average yards per carry through 4 weeks. Their defense is not as rock solid as their offense, but they have some serious fire power as DBs Hardrool and Canton both managed to score defensive touchdowns thus far, and although they're not getting much pressure on QBs, they're showing they have the DBs to handle most receivers in the league. They have gotten roasted by WRs such as Christmas, North, West, and Garden, but have not let it disrupt their rhythm on defense, still allowing under 23 points per game at the moment. They appear to have a strong 'bend but don't break' defense which has been great so far, but these stats could all be downplayed due to the fact that the Cats have played one game on the road so far, a loss to the Wraiths. Will they continue to look this dominant as the season goes on and they face mightier competition on the road? This could be S2's Cinderella story to keep your eye on.

My bold prediction for season 2 is that the Colorado Yeti will not allow 20 points for the rest of the season. Although they did allow 33 points in the first game against the Wraiths, they have shown themselves to be stronger than ever in the past 3 games. They have averaged 6 allowed points per game in the past 3 weeks, and held the mighty Outlaws to only 12 points. The Yeti defense is by far the best in the league and I see no reason for them to slow down anytime soon. Roman Thomas, Luke Tiernan, Fuego Wozy, Phillipe Carter, Blaster Blade, and BIG BOT. The amount of players that are X-Factors on the Yeti defense is insane. They are fully capable of holding every team they face for the rest of the Season for under 20 points. The highest scoring Offense in the league is the San Jose SaberCats, led by Ethan Hunt. However, I don't believe that even they can put up 20 points or more against this unstoppable force of a defense. That is why my bold prediction for Season 2 is that the Yeti will not allow over 20 points in a game again.

Matthew Vincent will have 1,000 yards and 8 Touchdowns this season. wow, his rookie season?! Over the 12 games that he has played (6 in S1, 2 playoff games, 4 so far in S2) 376 yards and only 1 touchdown! how is he going to manage a probowl-caliber season?

Here is why: during the 4 games this season, Vincent has constantly Improved.

Week 1: 1 Receptions - 5 yards
Week 2: 6 Receptions - 67 yards
Week 3: 5 Receptions - 68 yards
Week 4: 6 Receptions - 89 yards

If he keeps up the average over the past 3 games, he will add 750 yards to his total, bringing him just under the century mark. ANY improvement (21 yards needed) will put him over 1,000 yards on the season. now for the touchdowns. He was a great Redzone threat in college and that doesn't just disappear overnight. Vincent has been targeted 18 times on the opponents side of the field with 5 of those being in the redzone so far this season, so he is on pace to see 18 redzone targets this season and 63 targets on the opponents side of the field. those numbers will only go up as Vincent gets accustomed to the speed of the NSFL. Only time will tell when he becomes a powerhouse in this league.
