*Ramczyk's Draft Day - Shiny - 03-23-2021 Today was draft day. Ramczyk was excited to see where his future was going to be. Many teams have reached out to him and he knew he was going to get drafted the only question was where. Sitting at home with his close families and friends awaiting his name to be called. Ramczyk knew he was not going in the first and it was more likely to be drafted late second to the third round. So for the first day, Ramczyk and his family just relaxed and had a good time watching the draft and cheering on his Tijuana teammates as they got drafted. As the first day came to an end, Watching Juno Hu go 7th overall and Cade Williams going 13th overall. Ramczyk began to feel anxious. Soon it would be his turn and he did not know where he would end up. As Ramczyk awoke for day 2. It was his time to get drafted. He got all dressed up in a button shirt and jeans and headed out into the living room. All his friends and family were there for his big day. His mom was super nervous for him and his dad was trying to calm her down as best he could. As the draft started Ramczyk put his phone on the table and watched the draft unfold. As the draft went he saw his teammate's dreams being made in front of him. Romulus Roman going 15h overall, IsHe... ReallyInvisible going 27th overall, Lonnie Jackson going 32nd overall. As the 35th pick came up and Baltimore was on the clock. David was waiting and then he heard his phone ring. a 410 number was on his screen and he quickly picked up the phone. He honestly didn't hear much of the other side. There was so much cheering and yelling from his family and friends around him. His dreams were coming true. He was finally drafted into the ISFL. As David put down the phone, the tv was turned up as they waited to hear his name called. "With the 35th pick of the Season 28 Draft, The Baltimore Hawks select, Defensive Tackle, David Ramczyk.!" Pure elation Even more madness and yelling occurred.  As the party came to an end it was time to get down to business. Planning of plane rides, meeting times, who Ramcyk was going to be teammates with, learning who the coaches and staff were. Looking at some of the histories of the Hawks and getting to understand the franchise he was hopefully going to be spending his career with.  As draft day came to a close another it was time for a new opportunity and adventure in Racmzyk's life. He was excited and nervous about this opportunity but he was going to try his hardest to not squander it and make it the best opportunity of his life.
