S28 Charity Drive Ideas and Suggestions - DarknessRising - 04-05-2021

As seen HERE, the ISFL is one of many sim leagues taking part in a new charity drive that will be supporting the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA). We are excited as one giant sim league community to make a difference for such a great cause that had an impact on one of our own. In order to do this, some might remember from the S24 charity drive, we will be needing your help!.

We are looking for ideas and suggestions as to what are some perks that can be put up to be brought either through straight donations or by auction. For inspiration, you can look HEREto the perks and auctions we had last charity drive. If you have any ideas, please PM (DarknessRising#6537) as I am the charity organiser, but other members of HO are more than willing to hear your ideas and pass them along.

Further on this, I will also be taking suggestions or ideas for milestones. These are things that happen when a certain amount of money has been donated as a whole league, and can also be viewed on the above link. One milestone that I can confirm will exist, is the free TPE milestone!!

Finally, as of now, due to the charity event running over the course of our season, there is no present slot for a charity stream, but one can happen if we as a league can come up with some cool ideas of what one could potentially be, so also DM about that.

Reminder, the charity event will be starting on Monday, the 12th of April. Before then, you will see on the forums in the Charity Drive section, forum made for this s28 drive where such things like the perk list will be, auctions will take place and the donation link. Furthermore you will hear from me before the start of this event what the list of perks, auctions and milestones will be. I cannot wait to see the generosity that this league posses and make a positive impact and difference in the world.

TLDR: Charity drive is happening in about a week!

Last season we reached $1,768.50. If we surpass that, I will recognize Yellow as an official Colorado Yeti color.
