*The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - Rusfan - 04-16-2021 3 That’s the total number of turnovers the Colorado Yeti have through 10 weeks this season. It’s almost impossible to believe. Almost by chance a team usually gets at least 1 every 2 or 3 games. A stray throw or a low TPE RB who fumbles a carry boosting the statistic. But somehow this is not the case for the Yeti. Let’s go through the numbers more closely. Looking at just the numbers without context the Yeti are still on the lower end of the league, but it isn’t quite as bad. 6 fumble recoveries and 3 interceptions, 4 fumbles forced. Again, not good, still worst in the league, but a bit closer to the Hahalua, who are also struggling for turnovers. However, this number isn’t quite accurate. Here are the total number of Fumble recoveries the Yeti have from their opponents fumbling the ball: 0 That’s right. Through 10 games in S28, the Yeti haven’t recovered a single fumble that wasn’t theirs. All 6 were offensive fumbles. And it gets even worse. The Baltimore Hawks are clearly still in the “lose to help the future” phase, and seem to lose every week 100-0. The Yeti used this game to boost their turnover stats. If you take the Hawks game out of the stat sheet the numbers look like this: 1 Forced fumble 0 fumbles recovered 2 interceptions. That’s just awful. Without playing the Hawks the Yeti defense can barely be described as “existing”. So what’s the solution? I….have no idea. Last season the Yeti defense ate offenses alive with 22 interceptions and 14 fumble recoveries and a league leading 6 TD’s. Turnovers are an inconsistent and fickle mistress, so no team can expect to consistently win off of plenty of turnovers alone. But I don’t think any team has gone from the best to the absolute worst in terms of turnovers so quickly. Best I can figure, the Yeti just need some luck. RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - Big Edd - 04-17-2021 you think you have it bad, honolulu doesnt even have an interception RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - Rusfan - 04-17-2021 (04-17-2021, 02:22 AM)Big Edd Wrote: you think you have it bad, honolulu doesnt even have an interceptionThey still have more total turnovers than the yeti RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - PMoney - 04-17-2021 There's a very easy fix to this. I have cursed the Yeti defence by having them in fantasy this season so if I drop them you will be on 3+ Ints a game RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - Rusfan - 04-17-2021 (04-17-2021, 02:37 AM)PMoney Wrote: There's a very easy fix to this.Dude I told you not to draft us RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - qWest - 04-17-2021 Colorado defenders have been taking up way too much attention in the awards the last few seasons, this is penance now to get back some of that karma. RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - Memento Mori - 04-17-2021 It's a good thing that the Yeti can't buy a turnover, all their players are rich RE: The Yeti Can't Buy A Turnover - ReverendOReily - 04-17-2021 Quote: the Yeti just need some luck.
