Tree Gelbman Chops On - Reno - 05-16-2021
Well, its official, Tree Gelbman of the Chicago Butchers will be calling it a career after this season is over.
I'm super thankful for the many people that helped make Tree's career a success.
@Starboy @Buttersqauch101, thanks for being a guiding force for me when I was getting started in the world of the ISFL. I wasn't the best player that first season (fucking IRL health issues) and whatnot, but you never gave up on me. I owe you the world.
@MN_Moosey for being my motivational coach and guide as I actually started to try again, you kept me pushing because I wanted to pass you in stats one day (stats no, an award I somehow won, yes)
Bayley, Muford and @TheCC (I can't take Bayley and Muford for some reason), thanks for taking that chance on me when I entered Free Agency. Y'all sold me on Chicago immediately and I'm super glad I came here. Entered as a raw prospect who wasn't sure what was going to happen, and left an award winner and a captain.
To anyone else I didn't tag, you mean the world to me as well. I'm just shit with usernames.
I'll still be around in locker rooms and grading (so that Lim doesn't fire me into the sun), and I'll see you at the trade deadline for my re-create.

Truly a legend. Absolutely was great seeing you become a great TE even if we had to push you at times, but it was worth it. Can’t wait for the next chapter!

A true Chicago great. You're one of the best teammates and people I know in the league, and you're the best captain we've had so far. It's been a JOY playing on the same team as you for all these seasons, hopefully we can do it again someday in the future. Luv u <3
