May 24th 2017, four years ago today, is when I joined this league right before the first season draft. It's been a long and interesting road these last few years here. I've made some really good friends and good memories and I'd like to think I left a mostly positive impact during my time. And I'm really proud of what this community has accomplished and built together. Just look at that charity drive!
However, I'm writing this to tell you all that my time in the league is drawing to an end. During these last four years my life has gone through quite a few ups and downs. Like many people the last 15ish months were not the easiest for me to endure and there were quite a few dark moments. Yet in a way it served as a catalyst for me to work on my well being and reconnect with myself and those around me. I can truly say that I am in a much better place now than I feel I have been in many years.
I suppose with those kind of major life changes sometimes other things have to give. I've changed a lot during this time; I don't have a desire to drink much anymore, I wake up really early now for no reason at all, but more relevant to you few reading this I have found I really don't have any real drive or enthusiasm to continue on with sim leagues or video games or really even reading discord that much. I find myself wanting to do other things instead and I'm embracing that.
So while I am so grateful for all the good times and all the amazing people I've met here over the years it is time for me to begin the wind down. I'm not going to retire Hank Winchester or anything like that, NYS can keep him around for a while and I might even throw in a few updates here and there to make sure they can keep on getting production out of him. I'm also not going to disappear from discord, I'll still be on a few of them if you feel like you need Tableau advice or a bit of weird history from S8 or something.
I can't possibly tag and thank everyone who has impacted me in some positive way here in the last four years, this article would jump to 1000 words easily from that. I know I may not have always been the nicest or the easiest person to get along with at times, but I'm confident you can continue treat each other as well as everyone deserves. I really hope this community continues to thrive and grow for another four years and longer. Thank you for all the good times NSFL ISFL.

You are a true league legend and an absolute gem of a human being. You've helped me out with various things more times than I can count, and your contributions to this league can never truly be measured. It certainly won't be the same around here without you.

I never got to talk to you really directly, TC, but I've been in this league for almost two years and from the beginning when people spoke your name, it came with high praise. timeconsumer was almost whispered in reverence in all corners of the league and all I ever got out of the discussions is that you were an incredible person and an instrumental figure in league history. Even not speaking directly to you, I know you are a legend. Easily one of the biggest and most known faces in this league and I don't see that changing even as you leave. I hope life treats you well as you move on to your next stage in life and I hope it brings you even more success than what you had here as a user. Have a good one man.

Such a shame we never got to share a team (early season EFL excepted), but the impact you've had on the league and on me in our conversations over the years has been fantastic! I'm so happy and proud that you're in a better spot mentally and I'm glad you'll still be around in some capacity!

A league legend in ever sense of the word. I’ve been lucky to spend most of my time in the league with you and learned so many story’s from the old days of the league and a bunch of random things from your life from Fish Tanks to Home Ownership you always seemed happy and willing to explain stuff. I hope you still play Risk with us every so often or pop in once in a while. But in general I’m happy that you have gotten just about everything you wanted from the league and it’s glad that both you and the league have benefited.
I’m going to miss having you around a lot <3
