*Tsuyu Asui on ISFL cities part 1 - WildfireMicro - 06-12-2021 This is from the perspective of my player Tsuyu Asui and I hope you all enjoy it! "Hey Tsuyu Asui your resident frogchamp here to talk about my opinions on the various cities of the ISFL. I am currently playing for the Philadelphia Liberty and I love the city as you will soon see, bit I think it would be fun to take a look at not just it but many other cities that the ISFL represents. This will be in no particular order. This will be spilt into two parts with the next part coming next to week hopefully. I do not hate any city in the league but I do have a lot to say so let's begin with the city that I play for Philadelphia The fans here are nuts. And I mean that in the absolute best way possible. These are the kinds of fans who will cuss you out at the game while wearing your jersey then turn right around and offer you a drink at the local bar. The tailgates are something special as well, with people getting drunk before the game and throwing themselves through tables. Trust me I've seen the videos. However I just think that is just how the Philadelphia fans roll and they definitely do not mean anything malicious about it I am sure. They are serious about it being The City of Brotherly Love but sometimes it is tough love. As for the city itself, I would recommend checking out Love park to any tourist. Plus you have got to try out the various cheesesteak restaurants as they take them very seriously. They always end up being extremely good and cheesy and I cannot chose a favorite among them. It just depends on my mood. Overall Philadelphia I love you and your crazy fans that seem like they should be in an insane asylum to death. Chicago It is very rarely not at least a bit chilly here. While they may not have as big of a reputation about it as Philadelphia I can say that these fans can be absolutely crazy as well. I have heard some much abuse thrown our way when we travel to that red and grey field. A lot of people dress up as Butchers here as well, and I saw a fan hold up a sign that shows me with my head cut off by a Butcher which was not fun to see. But hey that was the game with the Flash Panda walkoff kick return so who's laughing now? As for the city itself it does occasionally get windy here but not as much as I would have expected. Chicago deep dish pizza is a good tourist attraction I guess but to be honest it never sat right in my stomach when I tried to eat it which is unfortunate because it at least tasted alright. But give me cheesesteaks any day. I tend to try to keep a low profile in this city so the Butchers fans do not notice me but sometimes that can be difficult. But still I do like looking at the sights and sounds of this crazy city. Colorado The Mile High City had done a number on my breathing when I travel here. Hell we have to have special breathing marks and oxygen tanks on the sideline and Colorado has the same on thier sideline. The fans here are not exactly crazy like Chicago and Philadelphia but they are very loyal and I have not seen the stadium not be packed. Also there was a time I was in the forest around Colorado going on a hike and I got a bit lost and I could have sworn I saw a yeti so I got closer and I realized it was just a man in a yeti costume. I got him to explain that he was just trying to scare some tourists that were annoying him. As for the city itself it appears that marijuana is legal here do that is a thing. Just be prepared to have a hard time breathing right here as the air is extremely thin due to the high altitude. First time visiting I was not prepared for that and I lost my breath doing a jog and nearly went to the hospital. Also it is often very cold here. Orange County Now we go from very cold to extremely hot with Orange County California. Sun and fun here with the fans being extremely loyal and passionate due to the team being one of the most successful in the league. Even with the team going through some down years recently the fans still come to the stadium in droves like a sea of orange. And yes I do see a lot of celebrities in the stadium and around it. Maybe I should see about getting into movies myself maybe I can get a star in LA. I would use my tongue as the marking but I do not want concrete on it. The city itself is very rarely cold and I usually enjoy the weather there. It is a drive to get to LA from there but I did it once if only to get a picture near the Hollywood sign. Plus you can usually see some good hockey since the Anaheim Outlaws play in the county. California is usually a great travel destination, and the OC is no exception. Especially if you can get to the beaches. Sarasota Now we head to the other side of the country with Sarasota Florida where the Sailfish are. More sunny fun times here with the fans currently enjoying the recent success of the team. I love going to the beaches and mediating the day before the game, my mind focusing on the sounds of the waves hitting the shore. I once saw a dolphin jump out of the water while I was there though I got a face full of seawater afterwards. Still an amazing sight to see. I once even rode on a sailboat around the coast which was an amazing experience. The city is a huge tourist destination as you might imagine, with the stadium having quite a few of them in there along with the actual fans of the team. The fans have rewarded the teams success with tons of sellouts and I have not seen the stadium not be packed with tone of green and blue. The fish bowl between Sarasota and Honolulu is a hot ticket when it comes here as fans of both teams fill the stadium which is a lot easier to do in Sarasota then Honolulu as you will soon see. Honolulu Ahh Honolulu Hawaii. One of the biggest areas for fun sunny times. Also a huge reason for my frequent flyer miles. I have issues with the sun reflecting off the mainly yellow field though. I once got caught in a storm here and that was extremely crazy. The stadium is usually filled with like 99% Honolulu fans as opposing teams fans have a pretty hard time flying to Honolulu of all places which is why the fish bowl isn't as divided here. The fire tosser ceremony during the pre-game is definitely a spectacle to see. The city itself is amazing and I love going to Luau's. Even if I am a part of a different team I usually have a fun time at the few I have been to. I actually have a few flower necklaces from them in my closet along with a Hawaiian shirt. That obviously does not mean I will not be trying my best to beat them in the games however. I have a reputation to uphold you see. Well this will do it for part one and I hope you enjoyed it." And I hole to see you all on the field! |
