Update time consistency? - Sweetwater - 08-13-2017

Looking through my update page, it seems like my update times have been totally random throughout the day. I know the easy thing is to just make sure you have everything done by Friday night, but sometimes life gets in the way. Is there any way we could have a consistent time window for when updates will occur? This could be especially helpful to those awaiting a media/graphics/statistics grade to see if they have enough money for a purchase.

As an aside, doesn't the week start over on Sunday? Would it make sense to have updates be locked by 11:59PM Saturday?

Just some thoughts.

I don't know when the week ends here, but most leagues end updates at Sunday 9PM PST/12 EST, and Sunday night/Monday morning is when updates are done. I know every updater head on any league I've been an updater on goes by that schedule so that it gives everyone time to update and all teams will get updated equally.

Updates need to be done Saturday before midnight. Very hard to get it to a specific time though because of real life obligations.

Also gotta factor in that updaters could be in different continents and only available to update at very different times.

I understand where you guys are coming from @Noble and @JR95. But I do believe there has to be some sort of compromise, like everything done at 3PM CST. or something, idk. Just a thought to throw out there.

The time is midnight PST Saturday. It's too hard to have them done in a 3-hour window or what not.

There are no PTs graded on Friday or Saturday so that gives you all of Friday to do updates.

So, you're saying I still have time to update now? because I had an updater tell me at like 9AM PST today that I had no links so I get no update. So if what you say is true, if I go put in my links right now, which I'm going to do, I'll be updated. Because if not, I'll be a bit upset.

I wasn't saying a 3 hour window, I meant by 3pm. It was just an idea, something that we can all work towards.

If you do it right now I will personally update you.

Some people update early in the day, some later in the day. It's hard to keep it all even steven. I don't really have a solution.
