*Why you should draft Jaycee Higgins: DSFL Edition - Net - 06-22-2021
Hey DSFL GMs, ISFL users, Bex, TheCC, first gens and more! My name is Netlandic, and my player is Jaycee Higgins! He is a wide receiver out of Washington University in Seattle, and today, I'm gonna show you why you should draft me!
I am active in discord
As stated above, I am active on discord. I usually check several times a day and will get involved in conversations as much as possible. I had over 100 pages of DMs with one user on my previous discord account (got banned, long story). I will always be someone you can talk to, and really you can get me interested in anything. I recently learned how to play Magic The Gathering on discord so go ahead and message me!
I am in several sim leagues
I am in 5 leagues total. PBE, ISFL, SCFSL, GFSA, and SBA. I am a GM in the PBE after a year of being active. I am a key part of the Vancouver Lions defense in the SCFSL. I won returner of the year in GFSA, and I just got signed as a UDFA in the SBA, looking to prove my worth! So now I'm here, hoping to become very successful.
I'm a sports nerd, and nerd in general
If you are looking for a dude who is obsessed with sports, I'm your guy. I follow the NFL, NBA, and MLB all closely. I love talking about sports, and a nice First Take type argument is always fun. Jokic won MVP fair and square, Aaron Rodgers needs to leave Green Bay, and the Rockies need to trade Trevor Story for some valuable. If you can't tell I like Denver teams.
I am a recreate
This one won't matter a ton, but I am a recreate, so I know my way around the forums a little bit. I know how to update, go to media, read retirements, punishments, etc; So I might not have as much trouble navigating as a first gen player.
I play wide receiver
This class has 8 wide receivers already (according to the TPE tracker), and so if you are in need of one, you can take a chance on me! I will prove that I can catch balls and I actually don't have a bad build for my player! I play slot like 5 others, and I think I can prove myself as maybe the one you should draft.
I don't mind where I play
While I know travel distance doesn't matter, I do have a slight storyline in mind for my player. This shouldn't matter to me at all. I almost guarantee you have a player that I know from another league and that I can chat it up with. I don't have a specific squad I want to go to, I will root for the squad and show unconditional love for wherever I go, just ask Minnesota <3!
I can do scouting
If you need a scout for your team, drafting me is like hiring a scout for your squad. Not too brag, but I did just get 6 actives in the PBE draft, and I did have slight impacts on Nashville's drafts when I was not in war room. I can find out which players mean business and which ones are a no for me dog. I can provide some good insight and help you find your next draftee or waiver claim.
I write media
Ah yes, media. Media is something that gets you money, and I like to write. You put those two together and boom, you get an author. I will try to make media at least once a season and a presser every few seasons or so. Always be on the look out for my media's, because I love some feedback always! Same with updating, feedback is good for that.
One more thing before we go to our closing statement:
I'm not gonna lie, I know this will come up in the questions, but switching positions might be a tough thing for me to do. I really wanted to make a player on offense, and I hope you understand. If this makes my stock go down I understand, but just a heads up. Now to our closing statement!
Now, I do have some cons of course, everyone does
Nobody's perfect, including me, but I just want to prove that I'm active and I'm staying up to date with what's going on in the league. I'm reading and replying to media and trying to impress people in my interviews while I stay true to myself. I don't expect to go 1st overall, hell even 1st round, but using a draft pick on me just shows that you have faith, which is all I need. Trade him. Embiid needs a better point guard. Utah would be a good spot because they can develop his 3pt shot. Trade Conley for Simmons

But r/NBA has told me for 13 seasons now that Simmons can't be guarded and is the next coming of Christ!

r/NBA won't mean crap when it's time for Simmons to leave. He passed up a wide open layup, he's out of Philly
