Some excellent OL performances this week as we approach the end of the season, and more importantly than any team success, awards season! There's just one week left for our big, beautiful offensive lineman to show the awards voters what they can do.


CENTERS

#14 (-) - Sirdsvaldis Miglaskems (H) HON - 2.6 Pancakes, 0.2 SA, 0.1 Pens, 1 PenYds
Miglaskems is dead last in OL pancakes this season, and he didn't make it into the box score this week

#13 (-) - Macaroni Elephant (H) PHI - 3.5 Pancakes, 0.3 SA, 0.1 Pens, 1.4 PenYds
Elephant conceded just his 2nd penalty of the season and added 3 pancakes last night

#12 (-) - Fats Domino (B) NOLA - 3.7 Pancakes, 0.1 SA, 0.7 Pens, 5.9 PenYds
Domino has been a liability for NOLA in terms of getting in trouble with the officials. He cost his team his 10th and 11th penalty of the season yesterday for a season total of 90 yards.

Big drop down the order for Slurms this week who conceded a sack and didn't manage to record a pancake.

SJS's bot managed an impressive 8 pancakes this week, but did concede a third penalty of the season

Just one pancake for the Pope, though he stayed out of trouble elsewhere

Pancake has cost his team a lot this week, but you can't get a game much better than this from a guard. 12 pancakes and a clean game elsewhere makes Pancake our guard of the week.

Gath picked up his 6th penalty of the season and added just 3 pancakes last night

Rubbe is on a nice streak to close out his season, adding 7 pancakes last night.

Cadaire had a tough game, conceding a sack and only adding 2 pancakes.

Alexander hangs onto his Pro Bowl spot, matching Rico-Shea's statline this week, but it will all come down to their performances in W16 as to who shares the Pro Bowl with Archstone

Krause has had a really nice season for negative plays, with only a single one all season, best of all tackles. But his pancake numbers mean he likely won't bag a Pro Bowl slot this season

7 pancakes for Buckley who has had a very good year for pancakes and not conceding any sacks. He'd be challenging the top of the list if it weren't for 3 penalties

#3 (▼2) - Jaja Ding Dong (H) SJS - 8.5 Pancakes, 0.1 SA, 0.1 Pens, 0.3 PenYds
Ding Dong looked vulnerable last week, and finally drops out of the top spot despite a clean 7 pancake game as the other two contenders have really upped their game

#2 (▲1) - Mo Magic (H) CHI - 8.1 Pancakes, 0 SA, 0.1 Pens, 0.6 PenYds, 0.1 FR
Magic had the best performance of any OL this week with 13 pancakes. His pancake rate overall is not as high as the other two, but he hasn't conceded a sack and given up only two penalties. OLotY is almost certainly going to one of these top 3, but it really could be any of them that finish as #1 after Friday's games

#1 (▲1) - Alexander Franklin (H) PHI - 8.5 Pancakes, 0.1 SA, 0.1 Pens, 0.3 PenYds, 0.2 FR
Franklin tops the list for the first time in his short career. He put up 10 pancakes and didn't give up a negative play this week. When taking snap count into account, his pancake rate is the joint highest in the league with Ding Dong, even if he is only 3rd in the raw numbers order. He has given up a sack and 2 penalties, but has rescued his team with fumble recoveries 3 times this season! Who wins this prize next week is anyone's guess.

How come? My view is they both push the next play back but SAs are a loss of down. Penalties might also nullify a positive play. How many penalties would you say equal a sack?
