*S30 Fuzzy Mock Draft Round Two - goodfortunecoffee - 07-06-2021

Hey ya know what, let's do the next round.

For my sake I'm gonna list out the picks for the second round since in my last one I did a couple trades.

15: BAL
16:  HON
17:  ARI (from CHI)
18:  CHI (from PHI)
19:  NOLA (from AUS(trade that I made up))
20:  SJS
21:  OCO
22:  YKW
23:  NOLA
24:  HON (from COL(the other trade I made up)

Ok 15th Overall:  BAL BAL BAL
The Baltimore Ca-Caws select: S Fuzzy George (goodfortunecoffee)

Hey that's me! First of all I've noticed in a lot of PT mock drafts that many have me going in the 1st round. Which is really nice! But I'm 2nd round material y'all. I mean, I know many of you are copying somebody, but I can't actually tell which mock draft PT is being copied. CLG? HENDRIX? Not sure. Anyway it's flattering to be projected in the 1st, but I see myself landing in the nest of Frick & Hall. Hall just recently and suspiciously retired his player; S Jeremiah Zelos, who also just so happens to be the Enforcer Archetype. The greatest safety arch. So I think maybe they have me lined up as the eventual successor. Or maybe not! Keep in mind I was drafted 20th in the DSFL, and I'm tied for 22nd in TPE for the S30 class, so I may not be 15oa material.  Either way, I'm brave enough to project myself to go higher than I actually do.  



16th Overall:  HON HON HON
The Honolulu Moustaches select: DE Ioe Torrent (Skindog44)

Honolulu basically trades out of the 2oa spot only to land the 2oa of the DSFL draft! One of their ends is regressing, and the other will be after S30, so it makes sense they go to this position. Skindog has already done 4 podcasts and has over 50M to their name. Also the name Ioe is not only pretty badass, but apparently pretty Polynesian. So it works.



17th Overall:  ARI ARI ARI 
The Arizona Dolphins select: WR Bradley Welch (Dolphins)

Arizona finally gets their 1st pick of this draft. Dolphins, another new user, has been pretty active in the media and I've seen them around discord a bit too. AZ currently has a pair of 1K+ wideouts, so maybe in this scenario, Welch will chill in London for a couple seasons before being called up. Or maybe they switch positions. I guess I've mocked some position switches before and now that I look at it, AZ has no tight ends?! That's wild. Well then maybe they lineup Welch at TE then? Are you allowed to do that these days? I dunno. 



18th Overall:  CHI CHI CHI 
The Chicago Meat Department select: WR Vincent Sharpei Jr. (Muford)  

Hot damn Chicago gets their former GM in the 2nd round! Perfect! Well actually it turns out, in the span of time between this pick and Berlin's last pick, where there was a wild GM trade if you remember, Bayley decided they want to part ways with Dewalt27 as their new co-GM when they see that Muford is available. Dewalt was Chicago's co-GM for approx 11 hours and 15 minutes, which is also the time length of the fastest flight from Berlin to Chicago I could find. Chicago names Muford as their new new co-GM, and they get S29 Ultimini Champion and best WR in the DSFL as a bonus. 



19th Overall:   NOLA NOLA NOLA
The New Orleans Doot Doots select:...A TRADE!  NOLA   trades this pick to  PHI for their 3rd round pick & next seasons 2nd round pick!

That's right, Philly, the only team that hasn't had a pick yet in this mock, finally comes through.

19th Overall:  PHI PHI PHI 
The Philadelphia Bellboys select:....A TRADE!  PHI  trades this pick to  CHI  for their both of their 3rd round picks & next seasons 1st round pick!

Chicago just can't resist having back to back picks, and PHI can't resist trading picks with Chicago. Double trade mania!   

19th Overall:  CHI CHI CHI
The Chicago Meat Department select: DE Rocco Blade (Akkca)

Well ok. I know you already read the player name and know I'm gonna make some reference to the Butchers and Blade and whatnot. Akkca is a newer user, meaning they were a waiver wire pickup and were not DSFL drafted. They also have made some pretty awesome lo-fi/retro looking graphics which I recommend checking out if that's your thing. I love it. Also peep that profile avatar. That's the work of a German artist. Clearly there is still some influence from former Berlin & now former Chicago GM Dewalt27 in this selection. Guess they kept him in the war room.



20th Overall:   SJS SJS SJS
The San Jose Saberkitties select: DE Stewart Hellraiser (oilmandan)

Oilmandan did a mock draft article a few days ago and also was recruited by MMFLEX, who guess what, I picked to get drafted by San Jose! So clearly MMFLEX talked up oilmandan when they were scouted by SJS. Yes, you heard me right, SJS actually scouts now! I was shocked when they contacted me too. Good on them. 



21st Overall:  OCO OCO OCO 
The Orange County Otter Pops select: RB Miracle Whip (Tbone54)

The best name in this draft lands in OCO as they need some RB help to spell GOAT TANK.

I also just realized I am too late to get that 1.5x media bonus now.  Dang. Well maybe we should just call it here. I'm kinda tired now anyway. Maybe Round 2.5 soon?
