Holy fuck, wow this is an expensive trade, losing that first hurts but I'm stoked to have my boy RD in the team.

It really really sucks to lose Smallwood, San Jose is getting an awesome guy for their team here. Really gonna miss you man

If I'm being 100% objective here I think San Jose won the trade.

Yea, RD is elite, yes I love having him on our team, but Smallwood has been developing quickly and is probably like one season behind cook in terms of TPE development. Getting a first as well out of it is a nice return when they already have Weston to rely on as a true #1 wr while Smallwood continues to develop.

True. All tampering allegations aside, I viewed this as a way of helping to keep AC Hackett around as well. Steep price but eventually you have to pull the trigger if you have a Danny Ainge like trove of picks

EDIT: Also a downside for YKW is this is a luxury trade not a need
