*Week 9 Power Rankings - tlk742 - 08-16-2017 Sorry about the delay, here’s the power rankings for week 9. For those curious, the Hawks are #1 on the index power rankings. A power rating indicates that if two teams face off on neutral ground, the higher power ranking should win, does it hold? It's why we play the game. 1. ![]() They had a bye, but I don’t see much changing until they play the Hawks. 2. ![]() It’s not that they won at home, but they beat the Yeti at home. The Hawks are multi-dimensional in the air and ground and the defense is stout. They could be something great. 3. ![]() Here’s something crazy, the Wratihs made two big trades. First, they bolstered their defense, then they traded the farm for a wide receiver, giving up their rising rookie star and a ton of draft picks. Calvin Johnson of the NFL would like to remind the world of his numerous playoff wins and Super Bowl rings. No one will argue that Cook isn’t better than Smallwood, he is, but I’m not sure how much of a difference a WR who catches the ball 8 times in San Jose will make in replacing a WR who caught the ball 6 times a game. The new LB was easily the better trade. 4. ![]() Otters are back in the Ocean and enjoying it. Boss is still ensuring he gets an interception a game but holding them to 13 points while scoring 27 is a great score line no matter how you twist it. The Orange County Resurgence has begun. 5. ![]() Noble had a bad day, Tweed is not performing where the team wants and something isn’t clicking in Colorado. Weird as it may be to say, the NSFC Champions may not be returning to playoffs unless they start reminding people why they are considered great. 6. ![]() Bye week was uneventful for Philly. They still got ways to go, but the team is shaping up to be a force in the NFSC fight next year. 7. ![]() What a week, trading their top LB and WR for picks. They’re done with the season folks, but they seem to be planning for the future grabbing young guys and trading for picks. They may be a dynasty, but not yet. 8. ![]() Loss at the wraiths, should be unsurprising, but if you want a reason why the Wraiths needed a new LB, the only problem on the line was Tebow who let up two sacks. 3 TFLs meant most of the line held up and the team is starting to get some rhythm for next year going. Yes the wraiths offense is better in the air, but if the trades indicate anything, the wraiths defenses lack *Week 9 Power Rankings - Valtookan - 08-16-2017 (08-16-2017, 01:33 PM)tlk742 Wrote:Here's the thing, the wraiths have shown some major defensive flaws that the hawks lack.
