S29 Pro Bowl Voting Bias - Modern_Duke - 07-13-2021
Many of you may remember the annual Voting Bias articles I would do for awards. Recently I took a break from doing those, as it got tedious. However, with this year's pro bowl voting results being released, there has been some controversy and about possible bias, so I decided to revisit this old well. Now technically, the released ballots are anonymous, which you figure would throw a wrench in all this. However, once you take a closer look at the votes its pretty clear which team is which.
So I compared team voting for each position and compared it to the average of all non-team votes in a very scientific process that's too difficult to explain here. When looking at the final results, if the average is above 0, the voting team showed bias, and if the average is below 0, the voting team actually showed negative bias. Here are the results:
Arizona: 0.0
Austin: 0.0
Baltimore: 0.0
Berlin: 0.0
Chicago: 0.0
Colorado 0.0
Honolulu: 0.0
New Orleans: 0.0
New York: 0.0
Orange County: 0.0
Philadelphia: 0.0
Sarasota: 0.0
San Jose: 0.0
Yellowknife: 0.0
Wow there you have it. Not a single team showed any bias in their pro bowl voting. Great job everyone, keep it up!

Don't let this distract you from the fact that numbers' multi made the DSFL pro bowl despite only playing in four games.
